Several options in Stanwood for diner food, this one is in second place I'd say. All the folks were very nice and attentive. Drip coffee good. Prices reasonable. Many options to choose from for breakfast in varying sizes which I appreciate. I just did the eggs, hash browns and b&g. Gravy average country style, not much sausage or seasoning but... More

They advertise the best breakfast in town and I would be hard pressed to argue. They have senior portions as well. Enjoy a variety of milk shake flavours with your over generous sandwich or burger. Great food in a 50's setting.

We eat at the Stanwood Cafe often. Great food with great service. The staff is always friendly. The coffee cup stays full. The menu has something for everyone. If you are in town looking for a place to eat with a "home town" feeling, give it a try

The place is full of locals when we got there. Table of seven geezers my age discussing politics. The guys were served huge platters as they fussed over the campaigns. We knew we were in the right place. Country ham, a pile of hash browns, two over easy and great coffee and out for 9 bucks including tip. Cook was... More

this is where the local farmers and anyone who wants a good ol' standard breakfast will dine. they burgers are right out of 1965 style. the atmosphere is energetic with the buzzing of locals meeting after church on Sunday or the local teens after they've been out duck hunting. the decor is country with mismatched chairs. a bar with stools... This old style roomy restaurant coveys a warm comfortable feeling of being back in time. Food is consistently excellent and service prompt and friendly. The breakfast grilled string potatoes are to die for. Our favorite breakfast place that we return to again and again.

Breakfast. Basic but very good. Quick. Friendly staff. Vintage of the 60s, or maybe before. Needs a face lift, but then it would probably lose some of its vintage cred.

This is such a great comfort food spot. Love to come here especially on weekends because that is the only time they serve Swedish pancakes, which are DELICIOUS. In the summer months, come have their fresh Strawberry shortcake; it is out-of-world good.

The gal at our hotel recommended the cafe, so we tried it for breakfast on our way out of town. She was right; it is a great breakfast! Good prices and food was tasty and hot. The service was good, the cafe is clean and quiet, and the prices were not outrageous. I would recommend it if you are in... More
