I've lived just down the hill from Ferrantes for a couple of years and had been meaning to come in for a calzone. This is in an uncomfortable mix of retail store, counter service restaurant, and finer dining. I must also say it's priced as a much nicer restaurant than it is, also the staff seemed poorly trained and prone... More

Visiting Spokane, my wife and I with our grand-kids decided to have dinner here. The food selection is very good, from Pasta to Pizza and Gelato. grand-kids had Fettuccine Alfredo and my wife had the Penne Pesto, I chose a Pizza all of which were delicious and great portions. Prices are very good in relation to the portion and quality... More

First, you should know that while this is a sit-down restaurant, you order at the counter and they call your name to pick-up played food at a window to the kitchen. That said, the food is incredibly good and there's a nice selection of wine in the *marketplace* at the front of the house (which also has an interesting and... More

We started out just wanting coffee, and the server was very gracious and quick to bring it - we were tempted by delicious baking smells from the oven area but in the end the sight of the gelato bar won the day. I was allowed to taste several before going for the pistachio which was excellent - lots of nuts... More

Wonderful small restaurant on the South Hill. Wide variety to choose from & all very tastefully prepared. The gelato is a wonderful way to end your meal. My new favorite place to go.

This is my husband's favorite place for pizza. I usually order a salad with blue cheese, apples, and pecans. For dessert there is always gelato. There is a small shop with unusual greeting cards, jewelry, hand bags, and kitchen items, which I have found to be a good place when shopping for gifts. They also sell wine. Ferrante's is casual,... What a disappointment. The food was OK, however portions were niggardly. There was no table service and a minimal menu. Seating was uncomfortable and cramped. For the prices I would at least expect someone around to take my order or fill up my water glass. On a bright note, the expensive gelato was tasty.

This family owned Italian restaurant is a great place to visit for pasta, sandwiches, pizza and of course gelato! They offer 18 flavors daily. Who wouldn't love that? Seated service in the past has been up and down. The food is good and made with love. They also have a delightful gift area to browse while you wait for your... More

Try the Lasagna it's very good. Great little restaurant in Spokane, self service but it works just fine. Superb homemade gelato and great beer and wine selection. There is a small shop at the entrance
