I have been to Spokane multiple times and had never heard of this bakery. A person at my seminar mentioned it and so I decided to give it a try. Kind of hidden away. Beautiful location by Manito Park. Most of the crowd seemed to be locals. Very friendly workers and customers. I had a cranberry orange scone and an... More

We stopped in after a bike ride on Saturday morning. The joint was jumping, which I imagine is pretty normal on the weekend. Lots of choices of yummy looking pastries, scones, cookies, etc. I also think it would be a good lunch place but as we were there in the morning we were only looking for a pastry to share... More

Wonderful pastries, great coffee, very busy, some staff were friendly, others not so. Lots of places to sit, outside being the best as inside with the high ceilings is very noisy,

Great bakery/coffee shop. Coffee was great and well prepared. We had quiche which was delicious (both vegetarian and Lorraine). Pastries were very good. Scones were light and balanced. Place was hopping. They may need a little fine tuning for processing folks when it is super busy. All else was very good!

Delicious, solid, a local fave. Come here when looking to relax on the South Hill with the family. My wife and I have headed here regularly since early marriage, and are never disappointed. Daughter lives the cookies, and the soups and salads and coffee are tops.

Nestled in a quaint South Hill neighborhood by Manito Park, Rockwood Bakery is a favorite place of mine to meet friends. What was once a neighborhood grocery store is now a local spot to have breakfast, lunch or coffee. The vintage decor includes ample seating for large groups or parties of one. There is even a patio in from if... More

Great place for coffee and pastries or a light meal. Ample seating and cozy feeling like a Aunts living room! Love their quiche, walnut salad, and orange roll! And they have almond blueberry Gluten free muffin that's actually good! My child always gets a giant cookie.

The Rockwood Bakery was recommended to us by two different people before we even moved to town. It is a unique coffee shop and bakery in a refurbished historic building. The furniture is all old and used, but kept very clean. The coffee bar offers the usual assortment of coffee drinks served to drink there or take out, but stay... More
