The hotel is in a factory, essentially (hence the name). It's an attractive, historic venue. Our group of 30 was lucky to snag a private area in the restaurant, which was much appreciated. Because of my dietary restrictions (low-inflammation diet) most of the menu items were off limits for me, but the salad worked pretty well. We walked from our hotel on the other side of the river - seemed like a really long distance! If I had eaten more I probably would've needed to take an Uber back.

Having designed many steam plants among other type being in a retired plant was a minor thrill! The meal was excellent, and by comparison to many (and I mean MANY) places around the country on my journeys, for what you get, the atmosphere, and the personable staff, this place is not charging enough. I've paid 20% more for less in Houston just 3 weeks ago. The staff very attentive, and every runner from the kitchen (two different) met me with a smile and big "Enjoy". Highly recommend The Steam Plant if in Spokane.

I previously dined at the amazing restaurant back in 2019. However, when I had business back in Spokane, I knew this was one of two places I wanted to try a second time. It is no wonder that the host of my visit planned a dinner here for 30 people as our big night out. The restaurant was great in letting us pick from one of four dinners that all of us previously voted on as our choices. We could choose from a Korean chicken burger, a pepperoni pizza, shrimp with garlic and spaghetti, or the rib eye steak. Our waitress, who is named is Aslan, was absolutely incredible. The food orders for this many all came out within just a few minutes of each other. She was so impressive at keeping up with all of us. The restaurant also has a lot of cool history to it with an amazing bar in the basement. I will always make it a point to visit when in Spokane. Thank you, Aslan, and the rest of the staff at the SteamPlant!

Every year, I usually come to Spokane on a TDY for work. When I do, I always make a trip to the Steam Plant. This time, I opted to try the Lincoln Street pizza. This came with sausage, bacon, pickled red onions and Alfredo sauce with a drizzle of BBQ sauce. I only ate half of it and enjoyed the other half for lunch the next day. My work colleague ordered the soup and salad. His soup was actually a bowl of chili. I also enjoyed a couple glasses of their house white wine. All in all, another great meal!

Made a reservation, got there a few minutes early, went for a tour of the facility for about 15 minutes, returned to the host (manager) who told us to wait in line another 15 minutes. I pointed out that there were lots of empty tables for 2 and we did have a reservation. He told me to step aside and wait. His rudeness was unbelievable. He should be fired. We will NEVER come back.

Went to Steamplant with several friends, hadn't been there in a few years. Our server was efficient and friendly. Several in our group had the house specialty Smokehouse Burger, said it was the best burger they'd had in a long time. We also tried the pizza, and mac 'n' cheese, all were delicious. The decor of Steamplant really adds to the whole experience. Live music in the bar was enjoyable, not overwhelming upstairs in the restaurant.

My husband and I shared two appetizers (carnitas tacos and brisket fries) along with our beer for dinner at the SteamPlant Restaurant. So tasty and filling. We enjoyed exploring the very unique facility and atmosphere at this renovated steam plant.

The company I work for had an employee Christmas party there recently. I tried the smoked Gouda chicken pizza. Pretty tasty. The smoked Gouda was the best part, of course. Some of my coworkers ordered appetizers to share. The baked ravioli with marinara and garlic fries were very good as well. The industrial decor of the place was interesting with it having been a steam plant many years ago. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The place had an overall good vibe. Wouldn’t mind going back again.

Highly recommend a visit to the Steam Plant restaurant. Went for dinner and the service, bar, and food were all great. The actual structure is worth the visit. They are a working museum. Everything we tried was great. Free parking in the Diamond lot down the street. The wood fired pizza looked awesome. Will have to try those on a future visit.. Complete drink menu and live music in the bar.

We rented The Rooftop event space at The Steam Plant to host our wedding weekend Welcome Party (social of about 100 people that were in town already the night before our wedding). Becky was exceptionally effortless to work with to plan, coordinate and execute our evening. The food was delicious and we got MANY compliments. The bar was well stocked and the staff were spectacular. The double patios, in addition to the indoor seated dining, provided the perfect space for everyone to meet and mingle. We could not be happier with how this evening went.

This is a very unique dining experience... This used to be an old steam plant and it was converted into restaurant and other shops. Not only is the place unique but the food was very good. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Drop by you wont be sorry!

Stopped in with a group of friends before heading back to Montana. The food was delicious, good bar, all in a unique setting. This was originally a hugh steam plant in downtown Spokane converted into a restaurant with a few business offices incorporated among the pipes and steam vents. I will visit again on my next trip.

Be sure and make a reservation! We made an early one since we had a baby in our group. We loved the historic building and viewing some of the inner workings - got to see inside the stack. We were in a room and had it to ourselves most of the time. Got the Artichoke dip appetizer which was delicious! Loved the Lincoln pizza! Several in our group enjoyed the salads as well. Attentive service! Definitely would come again when in the area!
