went with my fiancé for lunch. he has problems with cholesterol and the staff was very hostile when we simply asked them to not season his food with a lot of salt. by the time our food came out it was cold and our drinks...never got refilled the whole time. just a bad experience over all. plenty of other, better places to go if you want fresh food or have any food allergens or something like my fiancé. not worth your time.More

This spot is on my way to work and convenient for a nice cup of coffee and traditional American breakfast. I don't think they are exceptional at anything, but they are great at everything, if that makes any sense. I always enjoy my food and...never regret a stop at Dolly's.More

Stopped in because of another TripAdvisor review. I was in town for my Dad’s heart Surgery. The food was fantastic! I had the Chicken Fried Steak. Equally great was the classic atmosphere and the conversation with Travis and Gabe! Highly recommend!

This is a small restaurant with both counter seats and booth seating. If you have to wait, you 'll most likely be outside as there is about room for 4 people to wait inside. The booths are a cozy stuffed brocade upholstery with tall backs...giving you a sense of privacy in an otherwise crowded room. It can get noisy. Everyone who works here is very friendly and service is prompt. There is a real local feel to being here. I had a chicken fajita omelet with hash browns. The onions and peppers in the omelet were cooked to perfection, browned and soft with slices of chicken that were the perfect size for an omelet. The hash browns were buttery crunchy with soft middle. Absolutely delicious. If you get hot tea, there is an extra hot water carafe. No kids menu per se but they do have a Teddy Bear pancake. You have to mention the biscuits. If you don't get anything else, get the biscuit. It's not your normal biscuit, it almost looks like a square piece of cake. it fluffy and melts in your mouth. You can get strawberry or raspberry jam (or both) to go with it. This is one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time in a very pleasant location. It's worth the wait.More

I forget how good this restaurant is for breakfast. (Lunch too...but I usually go for breakfast). Everything tastes fresh and good. Super friendly wait staff who all pitch in to help one another and take care of customers even when it's busy...and it's usually busy....I love their bread...tastes fresh and homemade. The jam is so good (I guess they don't make it but order it from a vendor in Seattle). There is always plenty of food and it always tastes great! Today my husband and I both had the scrambles...I wish I had ordered a biscuit because they looked so good! This should be one of your top choices for a great breakfast in Spokane!More

Fun “little” place for breakfast. We were lucky we hit it at a quiet time. My guess is it can get really busy because it’s pretty small. But the food was delicious. Highly recommend.

If you are hungry and looking for a hearty breakfast, try Dolly's! We could only eat about half of our meals because the portions are so large. The omelets and pancakes were great!

I took my wife out to lunch and she said suggested we go to Dolly's. Its a classic place that has been around since 1950 as I understand it. The place is very clean with a very pretty interior. We were greeted by a very...nice young lady. My wife ordered the BLT and I ordered the Hawaiian burger which had a nice slice of ham and pineapple and some great cheese and teriyaki sauce. As perfect a burger as you will get anywhere. My wife said her BLT with sourdough was probably the best one she has ever had. The perfect lunch and the perfect amount of food. Stop in when you can.More

We had a delicious breakfast at Dolly’s! We had the chicken fried steak and eggs and the spinach bacon omelet. The chicken fried steak is made from scratch! The omelet had mushrooms and tomatoes and was topped with hollandaise sauce! The service was excellent. It...took a little longer for the food but was definitely worth the wait!More
