Great little neighborhood spot that's been around forever. The calzones are the best in town. They take awhile, so it's best to call your order ahead and arrive just before it comes out of the oven, or just take it to go.

We looked up calzone in Spokane and found this spot, since my wife was craving calzone. We arrived Saturday about 1:00pm in november of 2015. There were a couple other tables full, but it was not crowded at all. My wife ordered the veggie and I ordered the sicilian, italian sausage, meatballs, and ricotta. After a wait of 25 minutes... Calzone was good service was great! I would definitely recommend, we are here on business and felt we needed to drown ourselves in delicious melted cheese and marinara sauce!

We had been planning on visiting this highly recommended pizza place for a couple of months. We did know we would have a bit of a wait, per the sign hanging by the order desk - 20- 25 minutes. Our pizza finally arrived approximately 35 minutes later, but wait, it was NOT a pizza, but a calzone !! Somehow our order was... More

Without question and hands down the absolute best calzone in all known existence. We visit weekly. Terry remembers our names, knows our orders, is incredibly friends and always smiling. The kitchen crew have a great sense of humor. They take great pride in their food and it shows. This is the standard of service other establishments should hope to achieve!

I hadn't been to Pete's since leaving college a decade ago so I was a little worried my impressions were biased by beer goggles. Nope, it's delicious! Portions are large and flavors are great. There's no skimping and the apple pie bites were incredible. I'm going to make sure it's not another ten years before I'm back again - even... More

I graduated from Gonzaga University over 30 years ago and recently returned for Parents Weekend. During my time at GU, I was introduced to Pete's Calzone and loved it. I'm happy to report that it hasn't changed in 30 years; it's still awesome! The thing that has changed is that they expanded a bit and added outdoor dining. The place... More

You've never had a Calzone until you have one from Pete's Pizza. They are the original and absolute best anywhere in the world! Yes I said in the world, the crust is amazing, and the filling...um yum good!!! Don't go to Spokane without stopping at Pete's. You've waisted your trip if you don't give them a try.

I've never tried the pizza, because the calzones are so good! Definitely worth a eating here if you are visiting - a Spokane landmark! Note that if you call in your order ahead of time, you won't have as long of a wait - calzones take a good 20 minutes to bake.

Ya know... There are better calzone options in the Spokane area. I don't need to mention them, lest some other Tripadvisor members think I'm affiliated with those establishments. No complaints, really, with the calzones they make as far as flavor goes, but they are a bit pricey for the size of the finished product. I grew up on the east... More
