This place is good for a bite when buzzed. I personally am obsessed with their philly cheesesteak with au jus. Often long wait times because of the Gonzaga crowd, but it's no biggie. Only downside is the dust level. Clean your stuff guys! Don't go...here if you mind smelling like a diner when you leave.More
We had an amazing breakfast at Satellite Diner. The staff was so friendly and the food was incredible. Cute atmosphere and delicious eats. Our server, Kacey, was a doll. Can’t wakt to go back on our next trip to Spokane!
Staying downtown in January we decided to try someplace new to eat. As a Spokane native, I hadn't tried a lot of downtown places when I lived there, so I try to make a point of trying somewhere new when I do get back. It...was a great place for brunch on a Saturday afternoon, with the option of having breakfast items or lunch items. The service was great, the food was tasty, and I will definitely go back next time I'm in the area.More
Loved the biscuits and gravy. German sausage omelette was delicious. Favorite was the hashbrowns. Crispy yet tender on the inside - actually taste like potato. Dining area was small and narrow but comfortable. Street parking limited but there is a public lot very close by.
Satellite Diner & Lounge was a blast from the past with an assortment of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Fabulous location for a late night meal after a night on the town. Service can be slow, so bring a good friend or two while you...wait. I also recommend the Croissant Breakfast Sandwich.More
It's hard to find a breakfast place that really stands out. The Satellite Diner did! There are a lot of options on the menu. My breakfast was piping hot and delicious. My only complaint is that I couldn't finish the whole thing.... My server was...friendly and took good care of me.More
Satellite is an old style diner, kind of a "greasy spoon" atmosphere. That being said it also has an interesting menu with a lot of breakfast and lunch options and the portions were very large. I had the classic breakfast with two eggs, hash browns...(kind of greasy, crispy and yummy), meat and toast. I chose bacon and received a large pile of it - at least four pieces. Yet I only got one slice of toast so that seemed kind of odd. I would have liked more bread and less bacon myself. My husband had the chicken fajita breakfast; you receive a large plate of kind of an egg jumble with lots of cheese and other goodies and then separate tortillas and condiments to wrap your fajitas. He enjoyed it. Our service was excellent so no complaints there at all. Prices are fair and we had no wait at 12:30 p.m. on a Thursday. It's right downtown and we easily got a metered parking place but bring quarters! You only get 12.5 minutes for one quarter so will need a few!More
ere is meter parking around the entire block, and meters don't need to be paid after 7 pm, nor Sunday. Be aware of the cab stations though, those are hefty tickets. There is also 3 lots surrounding with reasonable rates. :)
