Nice menu. Chilled melon soup is a home run. Decor is simple, tasteful. Decent espresso. Very relaxed environment. Good afternoon hang.

We went there on a weeknight and enjoyed an outdoor table. The service was good and while the food was pretty good I have definitely had better Italian. Bread was very good. I probably would not eat there again but then again we were passing through Spokane so do not know how it compares to others in the Spokane area.... More

The Italian pulled pork at Italia Trattoria is truly what breakfast/lunch was made for. You can have this at Brunch either skillet roasted in Terrine over diced potatoes topped with two perfectly poached eggs and a sweet pepper confit or as the Miss Piggy” sandwich with said Italian pulled pork, ham, caramelized onions, melted mozzarella, tomato, arugula and dijonnaise. These... More

I was craving Italian food so the four of us headed to Italia Trattoria. We sat outside as it was a nice evening. We all started by sharing the Cesar salads, which were okay, but not the best. They were somewhat unique and very heavy on lemon flavoring. I ordered the lamb ragu on the recommendation of the server. My... More

Hands down, best food, best wine list, best service and best value in the Inland Northwest. Beth and Anne have assembled the most amazing team. Brunch or dinner, you simply can't go wrong.

We came in april and found this amazing restaurant on TripAdvisor, located in a cute little neighborhood. We had the steak with the black garlic truffle butter and croquettes, the wild boar ragu, the black pasta with the spicy shrimp and squid sauce and the side of brussel sprouts, all dishes were delicious and perfectly executed. The service was professional... More

We went there for an early dinner, having a seat on the patio on an exceptionally warm day in early April. I had goat tongue as appetizer and a stew as main dish. Both were well prepared and nicely seasoned. Overall, they reminded me of restaurants I had visited in the 1960s in the Italian countryside. Down to earth but... More

Incredible food! Great atmosphere! This place is the best restaraunt in Spokane. I went with my wife and daughter. We had the halibut, a steak and pork chop dinners. All were excellent!

Description
In July of 2010, Chef Anna Vogel and Operations Manager Bethe Bowman opened Italia Trattoria, a lively, regionally inspired Italian restaurant in historic Browne’s Addition just west of downtown Spokane. Chef Anna’s commitment to cooking seasonally with the finest local produce and artisan products available from Italy and the Pacific Northwest has differentiated Italia Trattoria from any other restaurant in Spokane. The menu has an eclectic mix of house made pastas, meats and fresh fish, salads and soups, and breakfast dishes on weekends. Our menu changes seasonally while offering some of our house favorite dishes year around. The menu is complimented by a well-received wine list with a primary focus on Italian producers and some local Northwest wines. We offer a full service bar with hand crafted martinis, barrel aged cocktails, fresh squeezed juices, and the best espresso in town. Whether you are in the mood for our grilled rack of wild boar with sweet potato gnocchi, a house made squid ink fettuccine with spicy wild shrimp, our charred octopus salad, the best meatballs in town, or our city wide famous zeppole doughnuts or tiramisu, come dine with us.
