While staying at the Davenport Hotel in Spokane, we came across a magazine story of this restaurant. The owners actually have three restaurants and this French Patisserie of theirs supplies the other restaurants for bread and deserts. I could not wait to try this bakery. We were there at 4:00pm on a Saturday. (I also checked the hours on line... More

We only purchased their coffee and pastries to snack on and it was a fantastic experience. It's rare when you find a cafe that has pastries that not only look eye appealing but also taste decadent! They hit the mark here with super fresh selection of mouth watering pastries that will have you coming back as a repeat customer over... More

We walked across the street from the Grand Hotel to have breakfast. Great food,, wonderful service. The place was packed but it did not take long to place our order or wait for our food.

Every table in the restaurant was dirty as were many of the chairs we finally grabbed napkins and brushed the crumbs onto the already dirty floor. In addition to food particles the floors were covered with plant matter that had been brought in on customer's shoes from the tree outdide. When the Manager was informed of the filth in establishment,... More

We were driving from WA to MT and decided to stop in Spokane for fuel for the car and fuel for us. I have to admit I really did not pay much attention to the the menu but headed to the baked goods. I was thrilled that there was a decadent french marjoline made with hazelnuts and buttercream that was... More

Family members had breakfast here 3 days in a row. Good coffee, with non-dairy options for lattes. Nice omelettes, pancakes, crepes. Family members raved about the maple buns and got a supply to go to share with friends. Lunch selections a bit more so-so.

I use to come to Madeline's at its old location on Wall and Main. The new location is bigger. I was disappointed with the limited menu options. The gal at the register was rude when I asked for the menu. I pointed out the booths (which I prefer to sit at) that were not cleared yet from the prior customer... More

When I pick up visitors at the airport, I make the first stop at Madeleine's. The vegetable quiche, croissant and a latte are superb. On the way back home, I will send my guests out in style with a brownie for the plane trip. It's also very good and leaves them with a good vibe about Spokane every time.

Friendly and helpful staff with quick service and delicious food. Open, airy and warmly welcoming space, cool on a hot summer day. Menu is small but with good range of choices.
