A short walk from the historic Davenport Hotel and the riverfront, this was an excellent stop for a late breakfast. The vege omelette was great and loaded with vegetables. Would highly recommend.

the dude behind the counter recommended it and we thanked him all the way home! It is great to find specialty layer cakes, some with ganache or cherry....yet none of the fancies could compare to the delight of their brownie. not cake like , gooey with a crisp edge, just the right amount of sweetness and chocolate intensity...close to perfection.

Madeleine's has a new location which is awesome! Don't let your gps take you to the old location! Just drive three blocks further! Madeleine's has amazing food and desserts. The staff is friendly. The food is superb. The Croque Madam is an amazing dish with gruyere, thick Black Forest ham, and amazing sauce topped with a perfectly fried egg. Espresso... More

We mostly enjoyed our visit to this cute eatery. The mac and cheese was great, the reuben was delicious as was the soup. The open faced asparagus was just ok. The desserts were also great. We especially liked the scotcharoo and the MAPLE BAR! It was to die for. The service was good but NOT super friendly. We had a... More

Everything is overpriced and really not that good. We had the macaroons and espresso. The macaroons were gooey and the espresso was so-so. The service here is usually slow (I've waited over 10 minutes for espresso when the place was dead) and the internet doesn't work.

My friend and I come here for the croissants on days when I have my many doctor's appointments in Spokane. There is nothing like a nibble of heaven after a grueling day.

We had brunch here on our way through Spokane. It was outstanding. I'm from Seattle and a bit of a brunch snob, but the food here exceeded my expectations. I had an open-face soft scrambled egg and asparagus sandwich, while my partner had corned beef hash. Food was fresh, delicious, and service was friendly and companionable. The space is just... More

We visited this quaint little spot while staying in downtown Spokane recently. Our hotel didn't provide free breakfast so we decided to take a short walk to Madeleine's on the recommendation of the hotel staff. What a fun place. Nice selection of coffee and pastries, as well as standard breakfast options as well. Prices were very reasonable and the staff... More

Up in Spokane for our daughter's volleyball tournament and asked a local for a breakfast recommendation. Madeleine's didn't disappoint!! Got some basic breakfast foods but with the highest of quality. If you are looking to bypass the chain restaurants and experience a real cafe, check it out

Nice funky place with funky staff and a wide variety of guests. These people are the best part of the experience. Food is good, but the staff seem frenetic if not disorganized. If your downtown it is worth a visit.

Thank William K
