Within walking distance so thought we’d give Izumi a try. The rainbow roll was good as were the two dinners we had, pepper beef & house noodles with pork & chicken combo. Also had a couple cocktails which were tasty. Prices reasonable & ambience a...bit modern & minimalistic. We’ll be back again as it is good & very convenient to our home. Chef Lu’s is a little bit better but we think but Izumi is strong competition.More

To celebrate my wife's birthday, our 2 boys and their families went to dinner at a restaurant near our home. The food was prepared to order and very fresh. If you like sushi and/or Asian food this is the place to find it. Don't look...for an outstanding atmosphere but an enjoyable meal either inside or outside. We made reservations for the two of us, but later increased it to accommodate others who joined us. The restaurant was very busy but the service was great.More

I tend to be particular about my raw fish, and this place is definitely worth the stop. In my opinion, it is the best sushi/sashimi in Spokane. It also has more traditional Asian food. Whenever I am in Spokane, I always make an effort to...have at least one meal here.More

I stopped for lunch after a few people recommended this place. I ordered a yellowtail and scallion roll, a crunchy roll and a philly roll. The yellowtail was just ok. I grade my sushi by the sweet buttery flavor of the yellowtail. This was yellowtail...wasn’t up to my expectation. I still ate the whole roll. The philly roll had almost half cream cheese, which was a bit overwhelming for me. The avocado was fresh and flavorful. The 3rd roll , crunchy, was all about texture as the name implied. I paid about $16 for the 3 rolls as a lunch special. Not a bad price for sushi.More

Ate for second time at this restaurant tonight and have to say we were not overly impressed. Food was just ok and took forever to come out. Wonton soup was bland. Yellow tail was fishy but ok. On a good note the New Orleans roll...was tasty!!More

Excellent fresh fish plus good service equals a quality meal. Their Ginger choice is not too sweet. Unique hot tea, in fact the only issue I had is putting eel sauce on salmon skin. So if you don't like that be sure to say so.

Good solid sushi place on the south hill. There are also other non-sushi options that are pretty good. They have a wonderful prepackaged sushi to go selection.

This is a great sushi and Asian restaurant. My family eats here at least every couple months. The General Tzo’s chicken is amazing and we’ve had several excellent sushi rolls. My wife and son love the bento boxes. I just tried the hot and sour...soup and wasn’t a fan, and the cucumber in the water is kind of weird. Other than that, it’s great!More

My son and I walked over to check it out. We each had a dinner bento box. All was fresh and tasty. I don't eat pork, and they accommodated me by substituting spring rolls for pork dumplings. Good find.
