We visited on a weekday lunchtime. It's a cute little place and offers a medium-variety menu. Perhaps they were short-staffed, but our service was painfully slow. We never did get the bill delivered, so instead went to the cash register and told them what we'd eaten so we could be charged and pay. My sandwich, the TBird, was just OK... More

We were very happy with our visit to The Hungry Pelican! The food was excellent and full of premium ingredients. Not only was the food delicious but the presentation was lovely too. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We were also happy that this place was family friendly. The cost of meals here is very reasonable and again, the... More

We ate here for lunch while visiting Snohomish. Loved the Sampler of three canapés. The meatball and veggie were favorites. The bacon cinnamon roll and mulled red wine were awesome!

We had heard how great this place was so we made a reservation because we were a larger group and knew there was an event going on in Snohomish. Making the reservation unfortunately was the only thing that went well. They are not prepared to handle busy days. We were seated, and the server came to take our order about... More

I am sorry your experience was so negative that it led you to review us poorly. You may have observed lines out the door and standing room only, chaos abounded. It was NOT a normal day, truly a first of it's kind. As the Chef and Owner I am proud of our quality, reputation and service, however you are correct... More

While looking for somewhere to have a coffee and a small bite, we stumbled across this place. What a pleasant surprise! Excellent coffee and a wide selection of teas for my wife. We only wanted a small snack and the crostini hit the spot. Our server was charming and helpful. The shop is stuffed with knick-knacks and art work. Lots... More

Unpretentious and low key, food was great. Side salad was 1/4C of greens & veggies. 1/2 Sandwich was amazing, but smallish. I will order a full sandwich next time. Definitely good enough to go back for more. Recommend for the afternoon shopping lunch experience. Lots of menu selections and fresh ingredients.

Discovered a "new favorite" today! Hubby and I had a delightful late lunch - we sat outside in the afternoon sunshine. I enjoyed the special strawberry/bacon/chicken salad w/ a cup of chilled carrot ginger soup and a glass of chardonnay. Hubby had chef salad and the beef and bacon sandwich - next time he plans to get the "pelican" size... More

Met a friend here for lunch. Quaint surroundings, friendly workers. Reasonably priced sandwiches. Fits downtown Snohomish! Glad the husbands weren't along, they would not have enjoyed the experience, a bit frufru for most men.

We had great salad, sandwich and really yummy peach chilled soup made from peaches from the owner's garden. GF bread available and excellent GF cookies too!
