The atmosphere is not fancy; the location just a small old former logging town. The food.... beyond amazing. This is my favorite restaurant anywhere, anytime. My husband knows to take me here for every birthday. Seafood is not just their specialty, it will be your nirvana.

First let me tell you that the food was amazing. We've heard raving reviews for years so thought we'd try it for the first time on our anniversary, and the food didn't disappoint. However, the service left a lot to be desired. The restaurant wasn't busy for a Friday night, but our server wasn't knowledgeable nor particularly friendly. We were... More

We enjoyed oysters on the half shell for starters and they were truly delicious !! For the first time , I ordered fresh clams in a wine and butter sauce......so good and fresh from the sea! My husband got his favorite, Ciopinno without the calamari. He always says it is the best you will ever get , no matter where... More

This is a local establishment in a smaller community that has a loyal following. Having read about the fabulous food we decided to go there with another couple who had been there before. Bottom line is that the food is really worth it but don't make the mistake of sitting in server Denise's section. Her attitude and service were deplorable... More

Atmosphere has remained the same. Service is still good. Shrimp had a taste of chlorine, my wife could not eat it.

My wife and I ate here for dinner and were impressed by the menu and the service. The seafood has great flavor and presentation. This is the best restaurant in Shelton.

Minh's Clam and Oyster House is a five-star restaurant right here in little ole' Shelton! Minh has a state and national reputation for her seafood dishes made from fresh Taylor Seafood bounty. While this is a restaurant that is modest in its decor, the food is outstanding and brings guests from far and wide. You won't be disappointed if you... More

We always enjoy eating at Xinh's. The menu is not your run of the mill food and is for a decerning palate. Since it is more elegant, it has specific hours, and reservations are most appreciated, or you may be disappointed. We take our out of town relatives here to show them that Shelton isn't all redneck! Xinh's has been... More

My wife had the clams in white wine butter sauce and I had the prawns. The flavor was very good, the portions were "substantial", however, the atmosphere left a little to be desired. Overall, it was a decent experience, it was just not special.
