Let me tell you, I was a bit apprehensive about eating at a restaurant connected to an inn/motel. But, Blondie's turned out to be amazing! It was just like everyone else wrote, big portions, good food, typical small-town diner. The pies were gorgeous. We ate so much for our dinner that we had to get slices to go. If you're... More

Was served by Blondie herself who runs this great small diner. Staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Food was great and huge portions for a great price. Blondie also recommended places to visit and stuff to do in Olympic National Park. If you are in the area won't find a better place to stop and eat than... More

Really great down-home food here at Blondies. We almost always just have the Special of the Day, because you really can't go wrong with it. The staff are SUPER helpful and friendly.

We had breakfast here twice. Both times, the service was excellent & the food was quite good. This seems to be sort of a local hangout, as well as serving the Shelton Inn (to which it is adjacent.)

Everything you would expect from a hometown, old-fashioned diner, including the PRICE IS RIGHT! THERE can be a large crowd, especially on Saturday ! 1

We have been there many times on weekends at busy times and during the week during not so busy times. We have had exceptional service and not being seen or spoken to for 10 minutes during both times. No rhyme or reason. Just is. Food is large portions probably because it was a logging town with Big guys with large... More

Kind of a typical small town diner. The food is plentiful and tasted fine. I see other reviewers raved about the friendly staff but we didn't have that. There seemed to be two servers on the busy Saturday morning we had breakfast. We had to wait for everything, silverware, drinks, refills, napkins, the check. Three of our four breakfasts were... We are from Olympia and have been hard-pressed to find a simple place for breakfast. We had to drive the 1/2 hour to Shelton to find an old-fashioned eatery with good service, good breakfast, at a decent price. Everyone was upbeat and friendly and the food is fresh. You have got to try the homemade pies or take a piece... More

Not fancy but pleasant enough. The service was great, cheerful staff, feel they all have an investment in the restaurant's success. Large portions very reasonably priced. Homemade pie available for dessert. We took our pie home. Would eat there everyday if I lived close enough.
