We love to go to the Pine Tree for breakfast. Don't expect anything fancy, you are here to eat good grub. We're never disappointed and the portions are a good size. Late one morning, they had just finished smoking their ribs and my husband had them. They were soooo good!!

This is something you see outside a mill where the workers go. Actually it is right outside the Old Simpson Saw Mill, now closed but will be re-opening. This has the flavor of a small mill town restaurant. We usually go there for breakfast and they give you a decent portion. Nothing fancy, nothing crazy, just small town atmosphere and... More

Don't even eat here. How they are still open is on me. I have expierenced this a unfriendly, and dangerous at times (drunks fighting and bouncers not doing squat). There food is beyond icky. If you want good food, go to Smokin' Mos, Blondies, Susan's Grill or the Ritz. Steer clear from here!!!!

After driving around Shelton last winter looking for somewhere to eat we wondered into this place. It was around 6pm on a weekday. We stood inside door to be seated. We waited and waited for several minutes...I walked around looking for someone but not a soul to be seen. Left very disappointed and then had Domino's

DO NOT eat here! It does have a family restaurant and a bar section off to the far right thru the little hallway. The food has gone downhill and the place is not clean. I would not eat here if I were you. There are TONS of places to eat in Shelton that are much better and cleaner.

The prices are very reasonable for the area and the food isn't bad either. The antique neon sign outside told me I had to try it since any place that has been in business this long couldn't be too bad. I went in for breakfast and was greeted by very friendly people who turned out to be the owners. They... More

I have eaten here many times for breakfast. The service is good. affordable, and no wait for the food. Eggs Benedict is really good.

I used to be a big fan of this place. I hadn't been back in town for a couple of years, but finding myself in Shelton at lunch time I decided to stop in. There were three of us. One had a hamburger and said that it was pretty good. One of us had a grilled cheese sandwich. It was... More

This place is in desperate need of a remodel. We had sticky seats with a worn through Formica table. Average food. I can see that it could be popular with some locals who have been coming there forever.

I ordered an omelet with cheese and mushrooms, sour dough toast, and hash browns plus 1/2 crepe with blueberries and slice bacon. Obviously I was hungry. It was satisfying. The Pine Tree is a hole-in-the-wall type restaurant. Nothing fancy, "Plain Jane" sparse, though I see they are cleaning up a little better: windows are now clean. I always like to... More
