We went f or the first time and I really can’t say enough about the quality of the food. it was very memorable. the service was great. We got to watch some of the crab boats come in which was a bonus. I could only...give it 5 stars, but it surely deserved 10. We’ll definitely be coming back.More

Mid Day hours. Absolutely delicious food. The Salmon topped with Crab meat was to die for. The Crab and Shrimp Stuff mushrooms were certainly a big winner as well. it is pricey, but to be expected for the quality of the food. Very nice views...of the marina. We even saw some harbor seals. It is a small space. Be sure and make reservations. IMore

Small unassuming restaurant off the beaten path. We were heading towards Port Townsend from Port Angeles and googled the closest restaurant with a view and The Dockside Grill came up. We didn't have a reservation so we had to wait 20mins to be seated, but...it was well worth the wait. The place is small but the view was nice. The staff was super friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. We spent a week traveling through and eating in Washington and this was hands down the best meal we had. We tried all the chef specials for the day (a wonderful white salmon topped with fresh crab meat and a lemon sauce, and a delightful almond nougat topped with baked apples and a warm amaretto caramel sauce). When I visit Washington I will definitely have to plan for a stop here again! The bill for two people, including a draft beer, appetizers , 2 main dishes and one dessert came to just under $200.More

She steered us towards the Dungeness crab gratinee with their excellent Parmesan toast points and said we wouldn’t be disappointed. Oh no, we were delighted with this delicious starter!

This is a hidden gem. Great views of the marina from the fairly small restaurant with surprising delicious and upscale items. We got the dockside prawns (large, split like a lobster tail, still in the shell), which were cooked perfectly. The cheese ravioli were wonderful,...and we topped it off with some mousse and coffee. Check hours. The last seating for reservations was 4:30, so they might close early some days.More

We discovered Dockside 10 years ago while spending a month in Sequim, Washington. So each visit back it is at the top of our list to go. From the food to service is the best. The view of the harbor makes it complete.

After two months of craving clams with linguine we went to Dockside Grill at John Wayne Marina. Their version was far beyond expectations. Many places try to add all sorts of seafood which distracts from the purity it justly deserves. My wife had their Cioppino...which also exceeded expectations. We will be back in the near future.More

I ate here while visiting a friend who lives in Sequim, WA. I ordered the Northwest Cioppino and it was outstanding!!! Everything just tasted fresh! I think I will try the Boullibaisse next time. (This is the first restaurant I've eaten at that served both.)...I am planning another trip to Sequim in a few months and I can wait to eat there again!More

This place is a gem! Service is great, and the halibut and chips was some of the best halibut I’ve had in a long time. I can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for the treat!!

From the moment we entered the restaurant, the experience went down hill. At 1 pm we were the only ones in the restaurant. After ordering another couple and a group arrived...yet all were served prior to receiving our entre. Over an hour to be served....Called owner Ruth to apprise her of the experience and was total she would get back to me. Never did...Service and attitude must come from the top down. I will dine elsewhere. Would not recommendMore

The inside decor is nothing special, but the food sure is. The mussels and french onion soup were best in class. We also shared the coconut shrimp, which was excellent. Even the zucchini was tasty.

We were celebrating a special event and had been meaning to try this place at the John Wayne Marina. There are only about ten tables so we were smart to reserve a table on a summer afternoon. There was plenty of marine activity to watch...and even a wedding taking place in the park. The place overlooks the marina, the service staff was kind and professional, & the diners all appeared to be boomers who imbibed at lunch. The place was pricey but I don't mind pricey for a special occasion when the food is this well prepared. We have dined in many places, I was raised in the area so fresh seafood is something I am uber familiar with. This place rocks it. The menu is varied but focused on seafood. Nothing was overcooked, it was done and seasoned to perfection. It's a small place, we heard them turning away calls for Saturday evening reservations. They have signs to hire staff. The service was so kind and appropriate we left a large tip learning they pool it among everyone. We will be back. It's a great setting and perfect for a celebration or a day you feel you want to drop big bucks on a meal. We did not have any adult beverages, one of the few tables that didn't, but with a shared salad & shared dessert the bill was about $50 a person, at lunch. We don't eat like this often so it was a pleasure and a wonderful celebration for a sunny summer day. I was happy I had booked a table ahead, many people were waiting for a table outside watching the yachts and fishing boats.More

A family group enjoyed a nice dinner... shrimp, salmon, and seafood salads. All were very good, as were the appetizers of crab gratinee and stuffed mushrooms. The local oysters on the half-shell were very small. Good cocktails from the bar and nice scenery from the...window seats. Good, friendly service. Fine dining prices. Recommend reservations.More

I don't know, but would think they would not, since this is a restaurant, unless it is a service dog. There are other areas where one could walk a dog in the immediate area.
