The hibiscus drink was excellent...would go back just for that! We ordered a pizza and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The owner of our Sequim B&B recommended this restaurant. We went for early dinner but did not have reservations, so they seated us on the front patio which is partially enclosed. A gas heater and a blanket at each chair on the patio were available for warmth. The service was excellent. We shared a BBQ Brisket Pizza. The pizza is... More

Alderwood just opened Wednesday night servings for the season. It's in the walkable downtown area with indoor/outdoor seating (They have a gas heater and blankets for patio diners. We sat outside in the cool). Menu and wine list has a wide range with many local food and wine souces. Food is very well prepared, and served graciously by knowledgeable waitstaff.... More

This is clearly an exceptional dining experience in a most unlikely setting. Sitting in the back yard alongside the veggie garden was lovely. We had a great wine for a nominal price and a first class meal. The service was excellent and very accommodating. We would have been there a second time if they were open Sundays, which they are... We had dinner at this restaurant while traveling through the Olympic peninsula, and loved it! Smoked halibut hush puppies and a fabulous plate of planked salmon! Truly a dining pleasure!

Alderwood Bistro is located in a house, near the commercial district of Sequim. It is casual, yet elegant in its aspirations. It is hard to stray from the grilled fish (usually salmon) on a plank of alder, but this time I had Tierra y Mar, a piece of ribeye and rockfish, sauteed local greens and mashed potatoes. They always choose... More

Stopped in as we drove by location. Had the "Must Try" fish and chips. Amazing hand cut fries, lightly breaded fish with homemade tartar sauce. Coleslaw was to die for with a light touch of cilantro...pretty darn good. Topped it off with black cherry Panna cotta with fresh whipped cream.

We enjoyed our lunch. The prices were reasonable for Washington. Small quaint place, not well marked and the parking is not great. It's worth a visit and a good meal while visiting.

We stayed in Sequim for two nights and on both nights we ate at Alder Wood. The food more than exceeded our expectations and the friendliness of the staff was amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves and I was amazed at how hard they work, all the time with smiles on their faces. I... More

When Alder Wood Bistro opened in Sequim, it raised the standard for eating on the peninsula. If you love great food, great service, great ambience but with casual friendly service, this is the place. The owners, Gabe and Jess, put their warm creative personalities into their menu and how they serve you. They remember your name! Food is locally sourced,... More
