A serendipitous experience for us. We were staying a short walk away and had no idea how wonderful this restaurant would be. Service is first class, there is a full selection of wine and other beverages and the clam chowder appetizer is excellent. We chose...the daily specials - rock fish and boneless prime rib, both of which were, indeed, special. Don’t miss desert either. We’d be regulars if it weren’t such a long drive from New York!More

We made reservations and were seated promptly. Just a note, when it is cold outside ask for a table towards the kitchen, as two of us kept our coats on. Salads came quickly. We had the dinner salad with greens, nuts,pears and crumbled bleu cheese....Dressed lightly with oil and vinegar I think. Orders of Shanghai prawns, Killian steak and rack of lamb were all wonderful and cooked perfectly. We chose The Depot for our 45th wedding anniversary dinner where we enjoy perfectly prepared and uniquely flavored oysters, mashed potatoes & vegetables. We were served a plate of fresh perfect sourdough bread to enjoy with our wine while we waited for our meals. My...moscato was delicious The service was also exceptional, friendly and attentive. On this very special occasion they treated us to desert on the house! We chose the flourless chocolate cake which was delicious and also surprised us with unique excellent flavor and texture beyond anything we'd ever experienced before. We called to reserve a table on the tented heated deck which was most comfortable even without our jackets. Since we were staying at the WorldMark they gave us each 10% off our entrees. Thanks to The Depot we will remember this enjoyable evening for a long time.More

We came in for our 43 wedding anniversary and had the best meal. Service was attentive but not overly bearing. We had a slight change in menu preparation which was wonderful. Chowder made to order was wonderful. Overall a great time with first class food...and service.More

The intimate atmosphere and attentive service were top drawer. The salmon and ribeye steak were large portions, perfectly cooked and delicious— as were the mashed potatoes and vegetables. We’ve been going to the Longbeach area for the last 20 years and I’m sorry to say we had never been to the Depot until last week. Oh my gosh , this is going to be the reason we go there now . The service...was impeccable and so was the food ! We got the rib eye special and the salmon special. They were great . The salad and dessert were amazing as well ! We’re so glad we went . Not inexpensive,$100+ for two w/wine. But excellent! Calamari small plate superior and unusual. Local oyster and clam entrees also excellent. Good, small wine by the glass selection No room for desert!

Yum! Had a great meal at The Depot - started with the Peruvian Mango Sea Scallops. Wow - the mango sauce and the scallops is an awesome flavor combination. I got the Shanghai Prawns and my husband got Rack of Oregon Lamb. Both came out...perfectly cooked and delicious. The ambiance is relaxed and lovely.More

Great food and attentive service. The Depot is a must stop any time we are in the area. The halibut was delicious and cooked perfectly. Good wine selection. Everybody in my party was pleased with their meal.

We went to this great find while on a camping trip. The place is an old historic train depot. The inside is quite charming. The food was excellent and was the service! I had the razor clam pasta. The pasta seemed home made. Can't wait...to get back there. We told all of our friends we were camping with.More

We were fortunate to get a last minute reservation although we had to sit right next to the door. While the food was good, it wasn't the best we had in town. Service was outstanding. I do wish they had a bar though so we...could have a cocktail instead of only beer and wine.More
