Ordered chicken teriyaki to go on a whim for something to try at this business. Probably will try another time, but for $14.00, the meal wasn't worth the price. Order came out fairly fast and I mentioned the quickness and the response was, "Oh, we...grill meats all day." So what I got was warmed up pieces that included "scraps" of chicken. Will possibly return, but have had better chicken and prices elsewhere.More

Teriyaki joints are a dime a dozen here in the Pacific Northwest. Nearly every strip mall has one. There are 2 other teriyaki restaurants within a quarter mile of this restaurant and a Vietanamese/pho restaurant next door. I have been to all of the other...restaurants so thought I would give Honto a try. During the Covid pandemic, we have been eating a lot of takeout. The chicken teriyaki here was good. Plenty of sauce and a huge portion. You have a choice of salad or vegetables. We chose salad and it came with a nice honey mustard typed dressing. We also got an order of gyoza and got 8 pieces, along with soy sauce. Food was tasty. You will pay more here than at other restaurants. Just the chicken and gyoza set me back $20. I will probably go elsewhere next time to save me some money for the same type of food.More

We always call ahead and place our order to-go. We have eaten in the restaurant, but it is small and there just isn't much room for people to wait to get their to-go orders. That said, the reason it's always so packed is because it's...GOOD and their portions are generous. We normally order a family meal and will have leftovers for 2 more meals. Their lunch portions are large too. Probably their only food choice weakness I have found is their teriyaki chicken. It's dark meat and just not as good as some other places. But they have the best katsu, sweet and sour chicken, mongolian beef and gyoza that I have found. Our favorite take out restaurant!More

Had Teriyaki chicken (pictured below) for lunch today. The food alone would have been a two, but the service was special - the woman running the place was grumpy (at best) and when I said "hope you have a good day" she said "me too"....I smile, no attempt at any connection, just an unhappy person behind me he counter Save your money and time - if you're in the area and need to eat, go to the grocery store and grab some fruit.More

This Teriyaki joint has been around for a long time and it has always been top-notch quality, but recently service and food quality have gone down dramatically. The lady at the front, once nice and friendly has turned into a semi-evil human being. She argues,...is more than annoyed with questions about the menu and will leave abruptly while taking your order to pick up the phone and take down a phone order. No explanation or apologizing at all. In addition, the food quality has gone down as well. On a recent visit I ordered Chicken Breast Teriyaki, only to receive an under-cooked, chewy , smelly piece of chicken. When asking her about it, she just responded that I ordered breast and it has to be this way. Again no apologies or anything. Will definitely think twice before returning.More

The food was great and so was the portions. I was amazed that you could get that much chicken for $6.99. I wish this was closer to my home.

We are locals, and Honto's has been our favorite for ELEVEN years. Other teriyaki joints use inferior chicken with dark meat that tastes funny. Hontos has always had the best chicken and I know cause they always let me have mine with sauce on the...side. Super fast service, and you just cant beat the price. This is the one place our whole family agrees on.More

I love value in a restaurant. Honto is our "go to" dinner place. Always clean and fast. Food is fresh and the steamed veggies are not over cooked. The prices are reasonable and the menu varied.
