Been here several times. Friendly owner and servers. Dim lighting makes reading the menu somewhat difficult. Food served promptly and usually warm. Seats aren't that comfortable. Will return to see if there are any improvements.

We got a pretty good deal on Groupon for Mazatlan and it did not disappoint! The restaurant was clean and roomy. The seat cushions in the booths were a little awkward as it raised you pretty high and made eating a little awkward and they...weren't fastened down so they moved around a lot, but otherwise it was a nice establishment. The food was good and plentiful. Overall a pretty good place to get some food.More

We stopped by for dinner around 7pm on a Saturday and had the restaurant to ourselves. So, no problem with social distancing! We liked the decor. Concrete floors, wooden tables and lots of earth tones. Also, a nice inviting bar area. Service was attentive (as...you might expect as we were the only diners) but not pushy. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the food. Quantity is not a problem as portions are huge, but quality was lacking. I had steak quesadillas. The steak was chewy, grizzly and not very tasteful and the cheese was too thick making for a blobby mess. Wife’s enchiladas were ok but nothing that would stand out in a crowded Mexican restaurant scene in the Tacoma metro area. For my money, I’d probably go elsewhere.More
