Had lunch here last month while meeting with some folks for business. Restaurant is located on the golf course on the outskirts of campus. We were promptly seated inside. Had a bbq chicken salad which was decent. Food was OK all around over table; nothing spectacular. The place does have a good wine list. The views were pretty good from... More

Waited to be greeted and seated, 3 + minutes, nothing. Lost our business, gotta be kidding me. Bartender and waitress saw us there, waiting..seriously?? No WAY we're sticking around and spending money, beautiful summer evening on the terrace or not.

Went here with a large group for dinner on Saturday night. The food and service were so good we ended up going back the next day for Sunday brunch. Can't say enough about how great we were treated.

This restaurant is truly one of the worse places we have ever eaten. Service was ok. Views lovely but whatever you do don't eat the food. We had way over done prime rib even though we requested rare. The halibut was watery and mushy with frozen vegetables. The calimari was just breaded frozen rubber rings. We had 2 chicken dishes... More

After a disappointing outing two years ago, we heard recently that Banyan's was back to excellent. We had the sunset dinner, which comes with appetizer, salad or soup, entree, and dessert. There were four choices of appetizers, and the three our party had were all delicious. The hummus, a locally grown commodity, was delicious, and the warm pita bread and... More

Endless champagne and great food! Outside searing affords fabulous views of The Palouse and fun to watch the golfers.

The location is beautiful, and the restaurant itself looks really high end... Unfortunately that doesn't extend to the food, which is usually greasy and not usually great. In fact, we've never had *great* food at Banyan's. Rather, it's mediocre with a side of garlic. So. Much. Garlic. Like, does anyone there know that much garlic is reserved for vampire hunters?... The weather was perfect for seating on the patio while enjoying dinner with a friend. We arrived during happy hour which also included their Sunset Dinner Menu. This menu was a very good value as there was a choice or 3 appetizers, choice of 2 salads or clam chowder, choice of 3 entrees and choice of 2 desserts. Plenty to... More

We have eaten here several times and always had a delicious meal. I had the salmon for dinner and it was perfectly cooked. We try to go to brunch here if we are in town on a Sunday morning. They have a wonderful array of choices including omelets, eggs Benedict, and tons of fresh fruits and veggies. There is also... More

We went with a Group (about 12) for drinks and appetizers. Slow service, out of wine ordered, and after a long time finally got the 2nd choice. The Calamari ($10.00) was about the worst I have ever had (round battered rings undercooked) and the Pot Stickers ($9.00) nothing special. Prices were Happy Hour with 50% off. The SERVICE CHAARGE was... More
