Fabulous meal with exceptional attention to details and food allergies. Sarah a hostess was especially helpful and welcoming on the phone and in person. The best finer dining we've ever experienced in Pullman.

The chicken dish was so delicious! I only ask them to give me more kale instead of bread salad - not my favorite. The new system of charging guests for benefits for their employees as an additional tip felt imposing. Just add a dollar to...More

We happened to be in town on my wife's birthday so we went here on her birthday mostly on reputation. We were hoping for a nice quiet meal, but we had a small, loud group right next to us, I think we were kind of...More

This is the place I routinely take visitors, business or personal. Everything on the menu is great. And many include their signature home cured bacon. On the standard menu, my favorites are the roasted chicken and carbonara, and the lamb is my wife’s favorite. They...More

We ate here on the recommendation of WSU Coach Mike Leach himself, and he was right! The restaurant is a beautiful space, and our server was delightful, as was the food. Wouldn't change a thing!

My wife and I attended a rehearsal dinner last night. The food, service, and spirits we're all top notch. The Five and Dime cocktail, gazpacho, and lamb chops were all superb. Do NOT miss the bread pudding for desert!

We had a group of 10 and they did a great job accommodating our large group. Food was great, portions appropriate and service was very good. We will be back on our next trip to the Palouse.

Our host chose the restaurant, but we were up for a nice steak. We all had the ribeye & each of us had a different doneness (rare, med. rare & med.) and they all turned out like we expected. The sides were also tasty. The...More

Thank you for the kind words!

Nice restaurant with a good vibe. The menu favors meat, but a vegetarian or seafood lover can also fine a few choices when having dinner here. The restaurant has a full bar and wide-ranging wine menu.

A Monday evening after hiking at the Kamiak Butte in Pullman, colleagues and I went to Black Cypress for dinner. The retro lighting caught my eye, so did the laid back cost ambience of the restaurant. I ordered a pork chop. I was juicy and...More

We do have a corkage fee, and it is $12 dollars. However, if you brought a bottle special to you, we also offer decanters and provide full wine service.

A venue reflecting the qualities of our region that keep us here - goodwill, self-sufficiency, solidarity: generally, an understanding that time is precious and seems to be best spent with friends and family, connected with the land we live on, the community we live within, with minimal fuss, a healthy regard for the ridiculous, and a deep appreciation for good, honest food, company, and drink.
