Awesome selection of bakery items. Purchased cookies and scones here today. Everyone was satisfied with their purchases. The customer service was excellent. Enjoyed my visit and would come again if given the opportunity.

People come from all over to visit this bakery. I have rarely been there or walked passed when there wasn't a line of people. It is well worth the wait.

Sluys Bakery is always busy but certainly worth the short wait. People crowd just inside the door, but five to six clerks keep things moving very well. If it exists this bakery has it. The inventory is so extensive that some of it is displayed in the front window. Whenever we are in Poulsbo it is mandatory to visit Sluys.... More

Sluys serves all manner of pastries, including cinnamon buns, date filled bear claws in Danish dough, a multitude of handcrafted cookies, and fresh and delicious Poulsbo Bread. This bakery is worth a separate trip to lovely Poulsbo, and certainly will remind you of your childhood neighborhood bakery, long gone now, but fresh in your memory.

We always have to bring visitors by to partake in tasty baked goods! My favorite is the 'Viking Cup', an amazing cinnamon roll filled with cream cheese icing.

Get there early when everything is fresh! Wish they still made the Poulsbo donuts! If you are a senior, remind them so that they give you a discount , don't bother with their coffee, it isn't worth putting in a cup. Don't forget to grab some napkins on the way out and then head to the waterfront to enjoy your... More

Finally, a full service bakery that doesn't use commercial mixes and bakes the full range of donuts, bread, cookies, cakes, pastries, and cinnamon rolls. This is like stepping back 40 years when every neighborhood had such a bakery. The bread is very good (many varieties) and the cinnamon rolls are outstanding! Just wish it was closer to my hometown.

Sluys offers a nice assortment of donuts, cookies and baked Swedish novelty items. The prices are decent for the quality of their baked goods. I would not recommend the cupcakes-they are dry and kind of stale. I don't know if they keep them for too long but they were terrible the last two times I tried them.
