We had a delicious dinner! I had the lasagne and my husband a pasta dish. Enjoyed the ambiance and excellent service as well.

Friends brought us. They have been many, many times. Foods was excellent. Great sized portions. Sadly didn't have room for dessert. Nice wine list with reasonable prices. Make a reservation!

This popular Italian restaurant delivers loads and loads and loads of flavor...too much flavor. Overseasoned, overdressed, overcooked, each bite hits you like a hurricane. A total absence of any nuance or subtlety due to lots of garlic, huge fistfuls of salt, and a red sauce...with such intensely concentrated tomato flavor that it must be simmered for days. A tomato salad, saltier than the ocean, was a harbinger. A caesar salad was drenched in a thick brownish-colored syrup that passed for dressing. Pasta, not mushy but cooked far past al dente, was swimming in an ultra-strong red sauce that totally overpowered any chance to taste anything but concentrated tomatoes. The service was excellent throughout. It's too bad the kitchen doesn't throttle back and let the natural flavors shine through so that the diner doesn't leave feeling like they were hit in the chops with a hammer.More

Lanza's Italian Restaurant on the hill above town has delicious food and excellent service. We've been there a few times and have always had a wonderful meal and awesome service. We try to go there every time we're in town.

Lanza's restaurant has been in the Lanza family for at least 30 years. The current owners are Lori Lanza Kraght and Steve Kraght. They have created an excellent place to go for wonderful and plentiful foods with an authentic italian flavor. I grew up with...an italian mother who was an excellent cook so I know what is good italian food and Lanza's has it. From the antipasto platter to the spaghetti and meatballs, many of the recipes have been handed down from matriarch Gloria who cooked for her family her whole life. Lanza's is often voted the "most romantic" restaurant in Port Townsend. The staff is friendly and efficient and the food is excellent. Enjoy excellent italian food at this uptown Port Townsend restaurant.More

We were recommended this restaurant and we were not disappointed. I had the Tortellini Carl Vella and it was the best and most delicious white cream sauce with pasta I’ve ever had. So YUMMY! My dinner came with a Cesar salad and the home made...dressing was superb. My friend had the Calzone Adriatic and it was delicious too! I highly recommend this cozy restaurant as the food is fabulous!More

Lanza’s is the kind of warm, comfortable place where you expect to find pleasant service and excellent food. And that’s what you get. The staff is wonderful, very accommodating and they all seem happy to be there. The food is just great. Pasta dishes to...salads to mains like chicken are reliably the best in town.More

I love this establishment! I think they have the best Italian in the state and the owner and staff could not be nicer. It’s a quaint atmosphere, great menu with some vegetarian choices too. Be sure to try the minestrone and roasted vegetable salad with...feta. Favoloso!More

Living in Italy for 30 years has made me wary of Italian restaurants outside of Italy but Lanza's is the exception. Delicious real Italian food, pasta cooked "al dente" faithfully following recipes from the owner's grandmother. A wonderful surprise!
