We were unable to dine here this time for our trip as they were closed for a private party. Excellent food, service, wine selection and prices.

Excellent clam chowder, spinach & blackberry salad.Had crab cakes on the side and found them bland in comparison to Chesapeake Bay crab cakes. Very good fish and chips. Nice European feel and a little off the main tourist street (Water St). Service good and about the same speed as elsewhere on the Peninsula

I had the wild rice and leek cakes--similar to potato pancakes and very tasty. We also had an apple salad, after dinner coffee, and we came back the next evening for pie.

Good food, small portions & expensive prices. It was good but doesn't fit in my travel budget as a retiree. For a special occasion this is a great place but I can't see how locals on a modest income can afford it often.

It's not that the service was horrible, just slow. That's the reason for 4 stars and not 5. The restaurant was packed the evening we were there and I don't think there were enough servers. The server we had still checked every time she passed our table with more lemonade and ensuring us that it would be just a few... More

Being locals, we've been to the Silverwater many times. The ambience, food, and service are good, but it's just so overpriced I feel compelled to say something about it. Last time we were there I ordered an "Arugula and Avocado Salad." The waitress asked if I wanted avocado with it. I said, "yes, after all it's supposed to be an... More

From all the positive reviews we thought we'd get a really good meal. It was pretty good. The clam chowder was good and hot, I have a pet peeve about soup being lukewarm, two thumbs up. My wife had the fish and chips and it was okay, fish was pretty greasy, but the fries were pretty good. I had my... More

I discovered Silverwater Cafe when they had the fish and chip shack on the waterfront . That was many years ago and after eating fish and chips all up and down the west coast and the puget sound, none compare. Great atmosphere. Wonderful menu. Fabulous food!

We chose this restaurant last minute and were very happy we did. After so many meals with fried food (fried fish, clams, potatoes are everywhere!), we were very happy to see an interesting menu with fresh options. The food did not disappoint. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the service very attentive and pleasant. I would definitely go back!

We made reservations well in advance, based on an internet search. Dinner/service far exceeded our expectations. We planned to go somewhere else for our second night in P.T., but just couldn't find anything else that could stand up to our experience here, so we just went back it was even better the second time!
