On a very busy night, we had the Flatiron steak and the crab Louis. Took quite a while to get the food and the price was too high for the quality. Service was not good. We will not give this place a second chance.

Nice atmosphere and excellent food. We were able to be seated quickly without a reservation. Waitress very helpful. I had a salad with salmon added. Great dressing. Salmon could have been cooked a little less for my taste, but still very good.

This two-story restaurant is right next door to the Rose Theatre -- in fact, the food served in the Rose's "Starlight Room" is made by the Silverwater. Their fish 'n chips have been a favorite for years. We also enjoyed the buttermilk-battered fried artichoke hearts.

Just off the main drag, this place features good service and food--salads, soups, sandwiches at lunch, and nice dinners as well.

One thing about Port Townsend is most businesses, including restaurants, close by early evening. I'm used to 24 hour city life so the short hours caught me by surprise. The Silverwater was one of the few eateries open near our downtown hotel so Silverwater it was! The staff was professional, atmosphere pleasant and old timey and the grinds fresh and... More

We were wandering Port Townsend looking for a place for lunch and this restaurant looked good. We split a Ceasar salad and a 2 piece fish and chips. The fish was crisp, not greasy, and the fries we great. We would return to this restaurant.

This restaurant is located very close to our downtown hotel and after a busy morning, we went in to support our local neighbourhood. Nice atmosphere, very friendly and informative service, but my choices as a veggie, gluten sensitive eater were down to one, which sounded good with romaine, Washington apples, walnuts, blue cheese and a lemon vinaigrette. It was disappointingly... More

We considered several other dining locations downtown. This was recommended by a friend. We were completely disappointed. Never seen less interested wait staff. Mediocre food, no bread or anything else with entrée, prove was high for what we got. Won't be back.

My husband and I dined twice during a 4-night stay in Port Townsend. We were seated upstairs the first time and enjoyed the atmosphere of the old historic building. Service was great and our food was good. We had fish and chips and both enjoyed them. The herbs/seasoning in the batter was excellent and there's nothing like having fresh fish... More

Okay, I hadn't had Silverwater fish and chips in several years until recently...After craving the light, flavourful fish and perfect seasoned fries with fabulous tartar of old, I was very disappointed. Fish was in a blah batter, cooked to dark brown the fish over cooked and crunchy on the ends. Fries were soggy and lacking seasoning. The whole meal, with exception... More
