We had made a reservation in advance and were seated at a lovely table by the window, overlooking the Bay. We were on a tight schedule, but our server was prompt and efficient which enabled us to have a relaxed meal in the limited time we had available. The menu had plenty of choices, but we all had salads, and... More

We used to like this place. Things have slipped, but now I will not return. The restaurant has started serving wine in glasses with the silhouette of a naked woman. It's bad enough to have to see this on mud flaps, but I am sure not going to pay to support this form of misogyny. What are they thinking? When... More

Skip this place. I had the Chowder, it was way to creamy and to salty. This place might be good for a drink but the prices are to high for what you get.

But we weren't offered any turkey. Our server came and took our order quickly. We ordered fish, as intended but were curious why we weren't asked if we wanted to have the special. Entrees arrived so fast. Salmon and dover sole. Veggie side of snap peas and carrots instead of starch. But where were the salads? Oops! They came after.... More

This is one of our favorite restaurants on the Olympic Peninsula. My wife and I had lunch there last Friday, and I was anticipating their most delicious scallops, which I had last time, served over a light sauce. The bad news was they weren't serving them, but the good news is that they recommended their coconut prawns. They were very... More

We were on the last night of a 5 day exploration of the Olympic Peninsula, and wanted to have a nice date night dinner. The restaurant is beautiful, brick walls, linen tablecloth.... well, you get the idea. I ordered a chicken breast stuffed with black forest ham and cheese with a mustard sauce. The chicken was tough and chewy, and... More

My wife and I occassionaly visit this place when we come into town. Nice Older Hotel with style. We love sitting out on the back deck for lunch on a warm summer day. Very good food. We have had the mussels and calamari and they were both fresh, not rubbery.

I'd walked past several times and thought The Belmont was just a hotel. Actually, the restaurant is elegant and lovely. Lace table clothes and original brick walls are charming. The menu is full of wonderful seafood and fish selections, salads and a couple of beef dishes. The fish dishes and presentation are great. The service was very attentive, outstanding.

Terrific food. Service is always slow, but we are on a date, so who cares? Tables are all right on the water (indoors or outdoors) Fresh oysters on 1/2 shell are fantastic. Ciopinno is excellent. Crab Louis is wonderful. We return every year for our Anniversary because we love it. Skip the martinis but have their vino.

When we walked into the Belmont, I saw a finer dining interior. I immediately thought we would have to leave to have lunch elsewhere where the costs would be more reasonable. We checked a menu and decided to stay. The lunch costs were mid-range, and there were several options that appealed to us. We found our meals to be very... More
