We came here because of the great reviews but left dissatisfied. Our waiter was inattentive and seemed to be on another planet - perhaps he had a late night? We had to ask for water, for extra coffee and even then we had to wait...for both. Food was okay but took ages to come. Granola with Greek yogurt and fruit was a nice change from other local menus, it was very tasty and the portion was huge but the ratio of granola to yogurt was way off so it was a dry eat. I wanted to ask for a half glass of milk to help soften it up but decided I couldn’t wait that long. I am guessing it is hit and miss about whether you get a good experience - just don’t bank on it!More

Would have loved to try but no parking and restaurant essentially empty. Went around several times and no suggestions signed or offered on the website.

Wonderful breakfast. I highly recommend stopping to eat here, even if there is a wait. They'll give you coffee while you wait.

We arrived around 9 am on a Thursday and there was a small lineup for tables. Luckily for us, they had a table just open up for us so we did not have to wait. The service was great. We ordered a coffee and fresh...OJ to start, you asked for it and the basic breakfast. There was a sign that they were looking for a cook so we had a long wait to get our food. Food was good and glad we came here.More

Hit all the notes. Good coffee with constant refills! Delicious egg scrambles and toast. Great hot sauces. Friendly staff and cute space. Bonus was the Greatful Dead playing on the sound system. Highly recommend.

I came here because of this cafe boasting the highest reviews on trip advisor but I don’t know why or how food this mediocre got such great ratings. Their falafels are dry, as are the vegetables used (from being dehydrated too long in a refrigerator.)...I can barely finish it without dowsing it down with a beverage. I was not pleased. Service is fast but not friendly. An overwhelming “meh” on my part.More

We found this cafe back in September of 2021 and loved it so much that we drove 2 hours out of our way to return. Their breakfast menu has something for everyone and everything we’ve tried was amazing. Their corned beef hash is the best...I have ever eaten. And I learned this time that you can get with sauerkraut! The decor is kitschy, the people are fabulous and food extra ordinary.More

The most amazing meal! Between the four of us we had juevos rancheros, scooter, french toast, and bagel sandwich and we all were convinced we had the best meal ever. We quickly agreed that any time we're anywhere close to Port Townsend we have to...go there every time. The staff was super friendly and really put a high priority on safety measures too, which is really important to a family full of high risk folks. The food was just incredible. You owe it to yourself to go there!More

Eclectic mix of memorabilia. Staff was friendly, made you feel comfortable immediately. Had the best eggs Benedict I have ever had the pleasure of eating! They were super busy, but they were efficient, meal arrived promptly. Was very good!

There is a reason that they have been rated #1 for breakfast in Port Townsend- the food is amazing! The corned beef hash is made fresh and easily the best I have ever had in a restaurant. The decor is funky with lots of familiar...stuff from 60’s and 70’s. Overall it is a cozy place.More

We enjoyed the corn beef hash and an omelet, with plentiful servings. Friendly staff. Quirky decor. Popular with the locals. Biggest issue is finding parking.

When we arrived, we were told it would be a 25 min wait for a table. 1 hour 15 minutes later we were seated. We ordered soon after sitting down and waited another 1 hour for the food to arrive. It was okay... home cooked...style but a little cool by the time it arrived. My drink was long done and no refill or water was offered. Portion was reasonable sized such that you were not stuffed when you were done, just barely full. So if your time is not that valuable and you don't mind spending a lot of time in an uncomfortable plastic chair, then this place is for you. However, there are other places in town that also serve good home cooked style food in much less time. It is unlikely I will go back anytime soon. And if I do go back, I will not believe them when they say it is a 25 minute wait.More

Hi- no reservations; this is a very very small “funky” place - where you come in and find a table or wait; we usually go in the fall-winter as summer it gets crowded. But if you don’t go at a popular time - say 8 a.m. for... More
