Lots of fresh local choices and home cooking. We had corn beef hash with eggs (hearty) and veggies with cheese (delish). Took a peanut butter and banana pancake to go which was a great treat. Parking dicey We loved it

Located within a working shipyard, this small diner could be featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. The breakfast selection is very good...try the French Toast. Portions are large and the staff is friendly. The place is small and popular with the locals so you may have to wait. No worries...help yourself to the coffee and watch the surrounding activity. There... More

I breakfast here for a scooter at least 6 times a year and avoid the crowded weekends. It is fun to sit at the counter and watch at least 3 or 4 people dance around each other in the wee kitchen.

This cafe is a great breakfast place. It is located within the marina and opens by 6:30 for breakfast. It is worth the wait if you ate an early riser--take the time to wander the docks and watch the sunset. I highly recommend the salmon omelette with potatoes and toast. I look forward to returning. The service was great, atmosphere... More

While waiting to be seated, we had fun posing under a large blue moose rack. Once seated the fun began, the waitresses were full of laughter and quick to serve. The food was scrumptious and coffee kept flowing. The funky atmosphere was anything but blue, perhaps a bit crowded. We left throughly full and happy.

Do you want a filling, simple, good lunch or breakfast in the boatyard? This is the place for you! Food is plentiful and tasty. Service is good. It's a really busy restaurant so be prepared to wait.

After many trips to Port Townsend we finally made it to the Blue Moose for breakfast. With limited inside seating and even more limited seating outside, get there early on a Sunday morning. They had several specials, but we opted for Mr. Sunshine (cinnamon roll French toast, eggs and breakfast meat) and the half order of biscuit and gravy. Portions... More

We had not been to Port Townshend in over 20 years so we needed to reacquaint ourselves as we were passing through on the way to Sequim. A brochure on the ferry rated the Blue Moose quite highly so we went looking for it. It was like stepping back in time into a Laverne and Shirley episode. The food is... More

This is such an interesting place - such a fabulous surprise. The area where this is located is a marine boatyard and you honestly think you must be lost, but then, there it is! It is super small, so if I had any negative to mention it would be that you might have to wait..... but your wait is rewarded.... More

The food here is great. The staff is great. The menu is large and fun. There is a lot going on here for such a small place.
