Talk about southern hospitality!! And, no I'm not confused or lost, the Courtyard Cafe is in the PNW, but the staff here is amazing and over-the-top friendly! But, unlike the South, food portions are a bit more reasonable. We ordered the biscuits and gravy; this dish was quite flavorful, with a really good sausage gravy covering homemade biscuits. We also... More

This highly unorganized café is one we will never frequent again. My husband and I sent our capable kids to place two "to-go" orders and the first red flag was that my 12-year old daughter came to get me, saying the cashier was confused by my 9-year old son's order (he ordered a crepe with a side of potatoes) and... Had a great relaxing lunch. Chocolate croissant and peach/Marionberry pie are a must. Pear cider and local root beer were very good. Husband had Navy bean soup which was vegetarian no ham.

The Courtyard Cafe is a small diner off the busy main drag. Orders are taken and paid for at the counter as you enter...then seat yourself. Be prepared to wait for your order but the wait is worth it. Breakfast and lunch are served here and portions are large. I enjoyed the roasted turkey sandwich made with real turkey roasted... More

Super long wait for the food, don't go if you're really hungry. 45 mins to get some scrambled eggs after we ordered from the front counter.

I love everything about the Courtyard Café. Will and Heidi, the owners. The Miracle Bars. The Sunday open mic. The lovely and attentive wait staff. And the food. So good.

This place was perfect for my friends and I as we passed through Port Townsend. It is located in a beautiful Victorian style house, and the service is pretty fast. I had the hot vegetable sandwich which was a delicious vegetarian option, my wife had the BLAST (bacon, lettuce, avocado, Sauce(?), and tomato). They were raving about how good it... More

I had a chicken caesar salad - dressing and croutons excellent! Others in my group had a smoked salmon chowder and split reubens which were huge and both excellent. Salmon chowder may be among the best chowders ever! And sitting outside under the umbrellas on a great day - perfect.

I was in a rush to do an excursion and was sent to this cafe. It turned out to be fabulous! They had food to go or eat in from a nice little ordering counter. Preparation was so efficient that I was able to eat in. Staff was kind and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious and healthy. I... More

Try this excellent bakery, coffee house, and for a meal during the daytime. They try to close early. The summer salad was luscious. The sandwiches are full and fresh. Coffee drinks may be the best of the city. Do not ignore the dessert offerings.
