I ordered the chef salad, which came with a large slice of homemade whole wheat bread. The salad was huge and could have easily been shared or split. The salad was tasty and fresh, and exactly what I expected. My husband ordered the three napkin Reuben. As a regular consumer of Reubens, he said the flavors were there, but the... More

I keep going back to this cafe for lunch, and not just for the well-made soups and sandwiches and pies. This is a family-run cafe where locals gather and where you'll always find boat-builders and writers and musicians. Quite often, musicians perform here during the afternoon. If you want to feel at home in Port Townsend, check it out.

A large selection of "hand crafted" sandwiches, soups, salads, and more! I had the pulled pork sandwich my companion had the Turkey Cranberry, both on homemade bread. Very delicious and filling. Service was fast and friendly, but arrive early because its "counter service" and this place seems to be very popular (for good reason) We're here on a boat building... More

I have to admit to being addicted to Heidi and Will's establishment; no they're not my relatives or close friends, but they seem like family now. The chowder and pea soup is great, the bacon thick, the club sandwiches challenge your jaw muscles, the salads and quiche fine, even the little tub of jam is homemade! But then... it is... More

The food is what it is, not the best but fills the belly. Would not go back for breakfast, because the portions were small and not particularly good. Lunch is better, and they have decent sandwiches. Mostly, the casual atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming. The croissants, cinnamon loafs and cookies are terrific, although the cookies could be less sweet.

Nice venue, good lattes, frosted fruit scones. The egg, bacon, cheese sandwich was very good. Funky bathrooms upstairs...

1/2 Caesar salad very good and 1/2 tuna salad sandwich was pretty good, not great. My husband enjoyed his reuben sandwich very much. However, the piece of blueberry pie we ordered to share was unacceptable. We both took a bite and left the whole piece. Neither of us liked it, blueberries were sort of congealed, and crust was not very... More

A wonderful, happy place with excellent food. The owners, Heidi and Will, deliver on their promise to treat their customers like extended members of their family. The inside of the restaurant is colorful, bright, but soothing, with family photos and inspiring quotes on the wall, including a few from Elvis. The owners' attention to detail and ingredients comes through in... More
