Hanazono is one of our friend's favorite in Port Townsend. The menu is quite extensive... salads, soups, sushi, donburi, stir fried noodles and some very interesting desserts (that we were too full for... green tea tiramisu was particularly appealing). Definitely a restaurant to return, and try more dishes.

Our waitstaff was a gal from Kalamazoo. She was the perfect blend of attentiveness and neglectful - really allowed my party to enjoy private conversations without unnecessary interruptions nor the distraction of want. As she both seated us and attended to us, she helped establish the foundation of our dinner - which was delicious. I had Shoyu Ramen. My companion... More

We sat at the bar and got to see the very quiet and efficient work of the cooks up front. Wait staff very pleasant. We were both very happy with our meal. Futomaki had a bit of a non-traditional taste to it, but was still enjoyable.

If you are looking for creative Asian inspired food, this is your spot. The menu is large, but the best bets are always the daily specials. We had the tempura ginger cod which was excellent. It came with miso soup, rice and lots of veggies. It was big enough for us to share after our appetizer. Food is great. Service... More

I've only had dinner here once (so far) and it was wonderful. The flavors were great, portions very generous and prices so reasonable. We'll be back in September and I'm looking forward to introducing my husband and son to this sweet spot.

We were in the mood for Asian food and found Hanazono on Trip Advisor. It exceeded our expectations. We each had a bowl of noodle soup and shared two sushi rolls. The portions were generous, the presentation was artistic, and the food was delicious. The place is tiny...we got there at 2:30 and sat at the only open table but... More

Awful customer service. The food took over an hour and 20 minutes for a party of 3. Servers kept making an excuse as to why it was taking too long. She even said, "most people think this is fast food and it's not" to try and justify why we have waited an hour and 20 minutes for 3 orders. Then... More

I have been in business with Asia for 40 years and eat that cuisine mostly -had a great tofu/rice noodle/vegetable soup here -with a light flavorful broth and fresh local veggies-my wifes ramon was also terrific

This is a great place to stop and have an asian bite before the theater or after a long day of walking or shopping. I sat in the window to watch the world. They have noodles, sushi and soups and salads. Fabulous for vegetarians.

My husband and I love the food here and find the specials always of interest. The staff is lovely. The town's folk seem to return and return.
