This restaurant had it all - with a fun atmosphere and good prices. The view was fun, too, as it was right on the water. With the tide in, it seemed we could have been on a boat. We learned that this was oldest building still standing in Port Townsend and was once the shop owned by DCH Rothschild who... More

We stopped here mid-afternoon for a root beer float and liked it so much we came back for dinner a few hours later-burger and fries, of course! The restaurant is beautifully restored in 1950's style with counter stools and booths. There are 10 or more small juke boxes where you can play a golden oldie for a quarter. The ice... More

What a great place to get a bite to eat! Sometimes there is a wait, but well worth it. The food is freshly made and tasty. The prices are reasonable. Endless glasses of soda, too

Great Fish and Chips.  We stopped in for a quick lunch and it was very pleasant. Not a fancy, romantic venue but rather fun with a fifties theme. We thought the chips were exceptional and we also liked the batter on our shrimp. Would certainly stop in again.

We were touring Port Townsend and stopped in for a refreshing ice cream. Folks are friendly; portions are substantial and very creamy and delicious. Back porch with a view of the waterway while enjoying refreshments.

We have come twice to this restaurant and both times it was closed early. Today we called ahead, heard the recorded message it closed at 5:00, rushed to get there at 4:30 and it was closed. There was a gal at the counter who reluctantly opened the door and I felt bad for her because her English was not very... More

Enjoyed visiting quaint Port Townsend during lunchtime and saw this cute retro diner. It was a beautiful sunny day & we opted to sit out back on the deck. We both dined on yummy halibut fish & chips & thick milkshakes, while taking in the serene ocean view. Lovely!

This fun, 50's-style cafe makes a great spot to sit and enjoy lunch next to the water (especially on the patio, if it is a hot, sunny day). Service was attentive, if not overly friendly. The burger was tasty, but nothing extraordinary. The fish tacos were absolutely delicious! The fries and onion rings were both good. But above everything else,... More

If you want a place to sit back and enjoy the jukebox....this is it! The atmosphere is fun...the food is quite good...fish and chips, especially...you can sit inside or out on the back balcony overlooking the water! Just make sure to leave room for your dessert! Old fashioned ice cream sodas, banana splits, sundaes, floats, and my favorite....malts! Lots of... More

My husband's Vanilla milkshake was thick, came with the metal mixer to pour seconds, but was very average in flavour. On the plus side, when I ordered hot coffee, a fresh pot was instantly produced. Service was fast and friendly.
