We were heading to Ferry but wanted some dessert. We both had their ice cream cone which was very filling. Can't say about the other food items. Good ice cream

This was great fun and an authentic throwback to our youth. I think it is so authentic, even the youngsters will enjoy. Almost everything in the diner is authentic, established by a prior owner who transported the fountain and equipment, including a Seeburg juke box, from Iowa. New owners are very friendly and hard working (Hispanic family) and are happy... More

Splurge here in a sundae - delicious! And eat on the back porch as you will have a lovely view of the water, the boats, and Whidbey Island.

We stopped for ice cream while walking the waterfront town of Port Townsend. The offered more than a dozen flavored of hand scooped ice cream made locally. I really enjoyed my Huckleberry Heaven, creamy and rich with flavor.

We love the 50's vibe & the ice cream. Didn't eat lunch here but stopped in to sample the ice cream treats. After finishing the delicious orange float I wouldn't have had room for it anyway! The orange float tasted just like the Creamsicles I remember from my childhood. I'll be back.

We had lunch here. We got into the restaurant just before it got crowded. It got crowded quickly, so we were optimistic that the food would be good. Expensive but not very good. Very much like diner food. And the sundaes especially were over-priced.

We stopped in here and sat at the counter for a quick dessert--it WAS national ice cream day by coincidence. Fun 50's diner décor and vibe, with mini jukeboxes on the counter. We each had the mint chocolate chip--one in the form of a shake, the second in a cup of ice cream. Both were well made and delicious. I... More

Typical 50's diner food (burgers, corn dogs); not a huge selection. The drinks were better: cream sodas, ice cream floats, vanilla Cokes, etc. Service not terribly quick but the staff was pleasant.

We really enjoyed our visit to nifty fifty. Their burgers were great and so were their shakes. Oh and the onion rings-perfection. I wouldn't recommend their fried ice cream personally but overall it was a great experience. We would definitely go again.

Wonderful patio to enjoy your ice cream watching the ferry and other boats go by. Good ice cream, and the food is decent. Not too pricey.
