The Tea Room is situated within a wonderful Hallmark gift shop, and has a very "genteel" atmosphere. The food was very good and the tea was also delicious. Nice way to have a relaxed lunch in beautiful surroundings.

This used to be my most favorite place ever. Something happened last year and the place got new management, and a remodel of the inside was on it's way, they said .All the beautiful décor was removed and dark hardwood floors replaced the pretty floral carpet. The pink walls are now gray The tables are plain and the pink exterior... More

Food passable but nothing to write home about. Eggs Benedict not warm, sauce mediocher. Omelet cold.

My wife and I recently ate lunch here. it had a quaint Victorian setting and was fitting to see a group of red hat ladies eating here. Looks like they have outdoor seating on warm summer days. They had a good selection of sandwiches and salads as well as desserts. They have a gift shop as well. We ordered a... More

Having heard about Debbie Macomber's famed tea house from a write-up in Tea Time Magazine, and after having enjoyed two seasons of the Cedar Cove TV series (based on her multi-million NYT bestselling book series), we expected something quite extraordinary. So when the opportunity came to attend a special Downton Abbey high tea, we invited another couple to join us,... More

We took 2 ferrys to Port Orchard and walked around. We then walked to the TeaRoom(whew!).We went outside our comfort zone and both had the autumn bisque soup which was like warm pumpkin broth. It was very, very good!We had different entrees but they were both good.It was worth the walk.I was sad to hear Debbie Macomber would be there the next day... Perfect for a very nice lunch experience. Bright, interesting decor and gift shop. They seem to do well with groups, and are great about individual checks when serving a largish group.

We did. And it pains me to say that we were mildly disappointed. I have to echo many of AnnaDan M's comments. The tea selection left much to be desired. The food was really only so-so. The kitchen noise and constant too loud conversations among the staff definitely detracted from our experience. How can a tea shop not have SCONES?... More

This restaurant was recommended by SK classmates I hadn't seen in years and I'd never been there and was excited. I ordered the curry chicken croissant and had a choice of soup or salad. I chose the soup. The order came to the table and the soup was so thick (one of my classmates noticed it as well), looked like... More
