We had a delicious dinner as we anticipated BUT there is definitely a need for improvement.......4 Of us wanted the Beef Dinner but there were only 2 left (at six) so we ordered something else.......we were half way thru our dinners when I finally got someone's attention to inquire about the potatoes and vegetables.......they said they were not ready........we finally... This is a small restaurant hidden away in Port Orchard, a ferry ride away from Seattle. Their Sunday Night Suppers are a great bargain at $28 considering that you get a 4 course unique gourmet experience with a different theme each week. With a reliably tasty regular menu as well as a happy hour from 3 till 6 for lighter... More

It's not easy to find a great dinning experience in Kitsap county, but the Bay City Bistro is worth the drive. Located in the charming historical downtown area, the food, service and attention to detail were spot on. The goat cheese ravioli was delicious, Julia's beef was tender and deeply flavored and the Alaska curried scallops was a wonderful combination... More

Mediterranean theme for a prix fixe dinner From the moment we entered this charming Bistro, we knew we were in for a treat! Dinner consisted of an appetizer, salad, entree and dessert. The service was wonderful, and even though we'd arrived for early seating, we were not rushed once the Bistro started filling with customers We met the owners, Deanna... More

We had been waiting to get our family together to try the Bay Street Bistro for some time. Our reservations were made and our table was waiting for us when we arrived. Apparently on Sunday's they have a fixed menu with an appetizer, salad, main course and a dessert. We chose to order from the menu as the entrees looked... More

Very delicious dinner....original and fresh for both my husband and me. The wine was quite expensive....there were no bottle selections in the range that was mentioned on the website. Our brownie with ice cream and raspberries was so delicious. The restaurant is quite noisy.....I would recommend some ways to absorb the sound....rugs, wall hangings, area dividers. It made it difficult... More

We made a reservation several days ago for an anniversary celebration for 2 couples. The restaurant confirmed the reservation, but when we arrived we were told there were no tables available (despite seeing several empty tables for 2 and one table for 4). The maitre' d offered to seat us upstairs and took us there (which was obviously an overflow... More

The food was outstanding from the Mushroom Bruschetta to the Tiramisu and french pressed coffee. The owner and staff were gracious and helpful with our wine selection. The dinning room is a little dirty for my taste but the food will bring us back without questions!

We tried four restaurants in this town and looked in a few more. On a good night, this is probably #1 or 2. (there are not a lot of choices). If this restaurant was in a big city, I don't think it could stay in business very long. We went on a Sunday night and were reminded several times that... More

Tiny little place (soon to expand) next to the downtown theater. Intimate for couples, the food is remarkable, all fresh, the spicy clam appetizer is amazing. Fish is fresh and cooked perfectly. Owners Deanna and Brady are very friendly and a joy to visit with, they are quite excited about their wonderful restaurant. Enjoy!!!
