Burgers are awesome. The fried pickles are very spicey. They have too much pepper in the breading. Friday nights are very busy. The wait staff could use an attitude adjustment.

In Packwood Washington, this place seemed to be the local hang-out. We ate there two nights while we were there and were never disappointed. The first time we ate there I had a cheeseburger which was tender and juicy. The second tie we ate there I had the Philly Beef and having eaten a Philly cheese steak sandwich in Philadelphia,... We go for breakfast and dinner when we go skiing for the weekend. The burgers are GREAT, but the beer battered fries and tater tots seal the deal. It does get busy, and can get pretty loud...but it adds to the charm. If is a "locals" spot that welcomes everyone. Service is fast...even at the busiest times. Beer selection is... More

We ate here while staying in the village. From outside it looks quite run down but inside it has a nice local atmosphere. The food and local cask ale (served in a jam jar) was good as was the service. Good place to eat if passing or staying in the village.

Love this place for Breakfast. Very friendly service, pub and bar type atmosphere. Feels a little aged but its okay for this mountain town. Very popular with the locals.

This is a busy lively bar with pool, cards and tv screens, but the eating area is separate and can eat in some peace. We both had variations of burger and they were both very very tasty and generous in size. Service was fine, we did feel that when we said we just wanted water to drink the server was... More

It's easy on a road trip to go for the recognisable names but in Packwood, near Mount Rainer NP, there aren't any. Doesn't matter as this is a great place, with good food and friendly local people and staff and lots going on. Quite noisy but bar is separate from eating area and it's not intrusive. Wednesday is taco night... More

We stopped for lunch as choices are limited and really enjoyed meeting local folks. Fellow named Bruce shared what the town was like during the Mt. St. Helen eruption. Food was excellent and a great surprise as the place looks a little funky from outside.

This seems to be the most "hopping" place in Packwood and there always seemed to be an abundance of cars in the parking areas surrounding the restaurant. The atmosphere is that of a bar / sports bar, with pool tables, shuffleboard and televisions. It is noisy, especially if there is a sports game on the TV. The menu is decent,... More
