Service was slow, inattentive, and apparently uncaring. Really put a damper on dining. Portions adequate, but nothing outstanding

This is a beautiful restaurant at a killer location that is completely squandering the opportunity to really please its customers. The food is poorly prepared, served cold when it should be hot, warm when it should be cold...you get it. I guess the only positive thing I can say is that they do give a "senior discount", but it's small... More

I have eaten at the Oyster House for over 40 years, always loved it, always a busy restaurant . We had dinner there tonight, the place was practically empty! I had halibut and chips, 1/2 order, 2 very small pieces of halibut! My husband had prawns and chips, 5 small prawns. 1 root beer and 1 lemonade. $50! Service was... More

Terrible service . Waiter was rude . Waited forever for our appetizer. They weren't even busy . No apologies at all .

Sometimes it is good, sometimes not so good. Last night was one of the better nights. They have an extensive menu, some items on the expensive side, some not so much. But you can always find something that you like. For a Friday night it wasn't that busy and our server was prompt and pleasant. We had an assortment of... More

Service was terrible took 20 min to get someone to help us...then it got worse and come to find out it was the manager that serviced us. The food has gone down hill and was terrible. We were long time consumers and will not go back till new management/owner.

Dined here with clients. The Server seemed a little unsure of himself and had to come back to the table once to get a reminder of what one of our party ordered, so we were a little worried that things wouldn't be right, but that was the only issue and it all turned out just fine. I had the broiled... More

The manager was our waiter last Thursday; he was too stoned to comprehend the order. 40 minutes after taking our drink order he sent someone back to retake the drink order. He took our order and then brought back the entirely wrong order. It took him three tries to get it right. After that he never returned. We had to... More

The restaurant is in a great location, in a nice building with a pretty waterfront view. The prices are very expensive ($40 for cioppino?). The portions are also on the small side. The clam and crab chowders were pretty good. We were seated quickly and the server was prompt. The beer that I ordered sat on the bar loosing it's... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant because we wanted some fresh wild salmon. It was just a short walk from the hotel and right on the water near the Kissing statue. The service was prompt and good. We were seated by a window and attended to promptly. They had an extensive menu with a lot of oyster dishes and other items.... More
