I've been back a few times after it reopened and it's just not as good as it once was. It once had the best crab cakes this side of Maryland and good aoli sauce, but no more. The crabcakes were also overcooked. And the mud pie? What's with the raspberry sorbet? And the waiters? Nice but the forget things.

We have eaten at the Oyster House in the past (before the fire) and the food was okay. We went there for dinner tonight and the whole experience was awful. The service was very poor. The cod (fish and chips) was overcooked, almost to the point of being burned. The shrimp Caesar salad was warm, not cold and crisp -... More

We like to take out of town guests to the Oyster House for lunch. Medium priced and a great view of the waterfront. We really like the Cod and Chips and the Clam Chowder.

Had some fresh, sweet, oysters and beverages to wash them down. Great harbor front view and comfortable outside seating as an option.

Huge portions, but also huge prices. Service was friendly and place was clean. View isn't the best and patio was closed on a 75 degree day. We may come back but only if one of us suddenly becomes wealthy. Food was good though. Order the fish tacos!

I am originally from the area and this used to be one of my favorite places to go. I was home for a visit and on my last evening decided to take my brother and his family there for dinner. This establishment is advertised as the oldest seafood house still in operation in the state. In times past this was... More

We had read reviews warning of the terrible service but thought that people were being picky or whiny or something along those lines...but after waiting 10 minutes for a waiter to approach our table...then another 10 minutes for drinks, we knew we had made a poor decision. The oysters are $15/half dozen which is insane since those of Chicago prices.... More

We thought we'd try the Oyster House one more time after having a bad experience during our last visit. (It took us more than an hour to get our dinner on that visit, evidently due to a shortage of kitchen staff that evening. The couple at the table next to us were furious because it took them an hour and... More

Great location and very busy place. The oyster house is what it's name implies. It's mainly a seafood restaurant that serves oysters, raw, Rockefeller, pan fried, or in a salad. The food is decent and the price is fair. Decorations are nice and clean. Just wish the food was more imaginative or offered more unique items.

Not only is this restaurant on the Percival Landing walk, but it has great food at nice prices. I loved the wide variety of menu items and everything was so fresh. I thought it would be spendy and was nicely surprised at how reasonable it was.
