No words to describe how bad the food, drink and service is at this place. Did I mention overpriced?

The service was fine, but the food and pricing are not. My wife and i have been eating here for decades, but the new ownership has dropped the ball on the quality of their food. Time to look around for another seafood restaurant in the area.

There is a new influx of affordable and delightful dining options in Olympia, which makes the Oyster House a disappointment in contrast. Dishes are expensive, and the food is rather unremarkable. The original Oyster House closed years ago, and was brought back in the late 1990's in its current form. Sometime in the last decade or so, it was lost... More

Went there with some misgivings because of the many marginal comments seen on Trip Advisor. Place was almost deserted on a Thursday nite. Prompt and excellent service. Ordered chowder which was very good, followed by the steamed clam entrée with baked potato. The clams were excellent: very tasty broth, nicely seasoned, lots of melted butter. This was the first time... More

We take the grandsons here every couple of months and they love it. The chowders are great. My favorite is the halibut burger. My wife loves the fish tacos. The kids alway get the fish and chips.

Service was slow, inattentive, and apparently uncaring. Really put a damper on dining. Portions adequate, but nothing outstanding

This is a beautiful restaurant at a killer location that is completely squandering the opportunity to really please its customers. The food is poorly prepared, served cold when it should be hot, warm when it should be cold...you get it. I guess the only positive thing I can say is that they do give a "senior discount", but it's small... More

I have eaten at the Oyster House for over 40 years, always loved it, always a busy restaurant . We had dinner there tonight, the place was practically empty! I had halibut and chips, 1/2 order, 2 very small pieces of halibut! My husband had prawns and chips, 5 small prawns. 1 root beer and 1 lemonade. $50! Service was... More

Terrible service . Waiter was rude . Waited forever for our appetizer. They weren't even busy . No apologies at all .
