I eat here at least once every time I am in town. I love their halibut fish and chips. So crisp and tasty . You can tell the dish is fresh. Can't wait to come bag again.

First, this restaurant does not take reservations and sometimes the wait is quite long. Good food, great location on the bay with a view of Percival Landing. The food is good but seems to be a little over priced. Service is good. I would recommend the fish and chips and the clam chowder is very good.

We looked forward to the reopening of the restaurant after the fire and have been disappointed. At first we thought they just needed to regroup, but things didn't get better with time. Slow service, high prices, so-so food have taken The Oyster House off our favorites list.

Not that far from the Capitol building in Olympia is the oyster house. We have never eaten there. But what a delight. We sat outside next to the water enjoying the sights and sounds of downtown Olympia. The server seem to be new but he did a fine job. The food was excellent. I had scallops, my wife had a... More

The Oyster House has a long history in this harbor community. It's also got the best location in town, overlooking the marina at Budd Inlet, with its colorful fishing and tour boats. Window tables at the restaurant's far end, always in demand, are understandably popular with locals and visitors alike, but we opted for seats at the bar and had... More

Long story short, the owner (a woman named Leticia Barrett) came out of the back door of her restaurant and walked up to me in my car, and proceeded to try and run me off whilst carrying a gun in a small holster tucked into her waistband. I wasn't doing anything, just minding my own business. She just didn't like... More

First, on a beautiful summer eve, we couldn't sit outside on the patio. Our waitress was awesome . But the manager and owner were rude and unbelievable! Coconut prawns came dark brown. They looked burned. Even the guy who delivered the meal to our table[found out later, he actually was the manager] agreed immediately that they looked over cooked. So... More

We have been eating at the Oyster House for 15 years, usually once a week. However, the new owner, who is the widow of the previous owner, clearly doesn't know how to run a restaurant. She has increased the prices, lowered the quality of the food, and the service can be very slow due to the frequent turnover of the... More

We eat here occasionally and returned last night. The service was friendly and helpful. The fettachini offered a sauce and seafood choices which was fun. The prices are high in my opinion. You can enjoy a better view and atmosphere farther down the boardwalk. I'd try it at lunch.
