It has just expanded

Fishtale is popular spot in Olympia. A recent expansion and now open to children. It has organic fresh foods, and very eclectic menu, and is open for breakfast on the weekends..Good beer selection.

On a recent trip to Olympia-my hometown, my fiancé and I went out of our way to seek out this recently expanded restaurant/brewery. We are big fans of local breweries and were looking forward to this one, but sadly, we were quite disappointed. The overall atmosphere was great and the place was packed with two levels, but the beer was... More

Always a good time at Fish Tale. Their beer is above average as it most of their menu selections. The pulled pork quesadillas are phenomenal. It is a must if you are visiting Olympia...

My husband and I love this place! The food and service is always consistently good. I have food allergies so tend to order the same thing but I enjoy it every time. The fish and chips! The fish is light and flakey with a crunchy breading that is not to heavy. Fries are made from fresh potatoes and the flavor... More

This place is by far one of the greatest little jet Oly has to offer, the staff are great, the beers are awesome, love the ciders, and the food is Always greatly made and taste so darn good. This joint is always busy and folks all around. Love coming here for a short visit with some friends, get a cider,... More

The awful service here really blew me away. First, the good stuff: they have some couches next to a tiny little stove that made for a really comfortable, homey feel. They even had board games to play. We really liked this aspect of the place. The food was good, although not amazing. I had fish and chips, the boyfriend had... More

The creme broulee was a bit runny! The food here is excellent. We have been here two nights in a row, and I was gonna give them 5 stars but the ladies desserts were a bit disappointing....one of the creme broulees was runny. The shrimp & grits were awesome, the clam chowder bread bowls were super tasty, and the poutine... More

We recently went out for my 40th birthday with the kiddos. The food is so delicious & reasonably priced. I got the BLAST (BLT with Swiss & avocado) & my husband had the Reuben (he is very picky & said it was done perfectly). My 4 year old had macaroni & cheese -- she ate the WHOLE bowl, which says... The food was ok, the service decent. Had a bartender that was loud and obnoxious. There was a lot of flies and I mean a lot which made he experience not so good.

My husband and I were checking out all the local breweries. We were generally satisfied with the selection on draft. Not all winners but decent. We enjoyed conversing with the helpful and polite bartenders while tasting our beer. When it was time for dinner, we walked around a bit and actually came back here because of the light atmosphere. Overall... More
