As you'd expect from a place called "The Bread Peddler" this place is locally known for its breads and pastries - and rightfully so. But you'll also find some fine breakfast meals like frittatas, quiches, and poached eggs on absolutely wonderful bread. Or just sit back and have some very nice coffee with a great selection of fresh pastries. This... More

This restaurant makes wonderful homemade pastries and bread. They also have terrific sandwiches. Today I had an avocado and turkey on a baguette. it was delicious. The shop gets crowded. there is a reason why!

Every time we eat here, we leave happy. Good bread, good cheese, good meats, good soup, good coffee, good pastries. It's all good. Service is friendly, not fast, but it is worth the wait.

Located on the north end of Capital Way, this otherwise unobtrusive restaurant would be easy to miss, and that would be regrettable. Great breakfasts and coffee/espresso, but some of their baked goods are to die for

I enjoy the food and friendly atmosphere at the Bread Peddler but the service model continues to be slow and cumbersome . Whatever the length of line of customers all transactions run through one cashier. In such a successful business that some thought should be given to this bottleneck. The pastries and bread are excellent, fresh and tasty. The coffee... More

My husband and I ate lunch at the Bread Peddler Bistro for the first time today, and we were delighted to have discovered it. We live in Olympia and dine out weekly. While there are many restaurants in the area that have good food, good service, and a pleasant ambiance, restaurants with any feeling of casual elegance are few. This... More

Family has relied on Bread Peddler for years for always excellent food and pastries in a wonderful atmosphere. Now BP has expanded; it has added a second roomaccross a hallway that serves only crepes, savory and sweet. Went on second or third day of operation and liked the space and loved the food. Two crepes with lox and chèvre (locally... More
