I have been here several times. We have never had a bad meal. The wait staff is attentive and the food is always top notch. Love the burgers and wedge salads. Their meatloaf is so very yummy.

Arrived at 4pm for the 4-5 "Happy Hour".This included 6.00 cocktails and 4.00 beers. There was not a HH food menu but ordering within the hour meant 1 dollar off entree items.Since the entrees were 22.00 to 40.00 the discount was insignificant.Although it appears a...More

We have been going to Nanci & Jimella's back when they had the Ark restaurant, so that has been a good 20 years. We love the food, the people and the environment. it is a must to visit.

Don't normally start a review like that but our visit was wonderful. Every single dish we had (OK one quibble the meatloaf could have had more spice -disagree on the taste I had) service was exceptional and I loved the wine selection by the glass....More

We loved the Ark at the original location but always go to Nanci and Jimella's when we go to the Peninsula. A bit pricey but good. We waited about 25 minutes for our dessert which annoyed my husband. They are always busy. They take reservations!

Absolutely my favorite evening of our trip to the coast was spent in this intimate upbeat restaurant. The scotch orange salmon was moist and cooked to prefection. I'm so glad we saved room for dessert.

Description
Nanci Main and late Jimella Lucas are two Northwest chefs who have created impeccable food legends and customer loyalty. Their Ark Restaurant and bakery in Nahocotta, Washington gained a national following for 22 years. Nanci and Jimella's Cafe' opened in 2004. The Menu includes classic offerings from The Ark and link memory and flavor. Fisherman deliver fresh catch through the back door, clams and oysters come fresh from Willapa Bay and local suppliers of organic produce and meats confirm their commitment to taste and health. The cocktail lounge serves top shelf handcrafted cocktails and there is a well rounded wine list. The Bakery makes homemade breads and desserts daily. Warm rolls are served at each table. Locally roasted organic coffee fills your cup with wonderful aromas. The intimate dining room has a comfortable bistro atmosphere and sparkles with tiny lights and fresh flowers. Chef Katie Witherbee studied with both Nanci and Jimella as well as the Le Cordon Bleu, Portland. She is a gifted chef in her own right and has built a menu that is both innovative and delicious. "The food is nothing short of outstanding...I would not hesitate to make the gastronomic pilgrimage again. " Mouth of the Columbia, restaurant review.
