This place advertises gluten free however has very limited options. Their tortilla chips are not gluten free. I ordered a tostado without the shell and it was average. My husband had their burrito (not gluten-free) which he said was excellent.

Hola and thank you for your recent visit and feedback! We are very glad that your Husband enjoyed his burrito. We do mark our naturally gluten-free items with a small icon on the menu, and we are actively working to improve this visibility/flexability for our diners with food sensitivities! Our Managers are very well educated about gluten-free substitutions and we... More

We walked into the lounge area for lunch where there were other guests eating but no obvious staff member working specifically in there. 20 minutes later there is still no sign of staff. The other table finished and looked around for the check. After sitting there awhile, they got up and left. We walked out behind them after having seen... More

Hola Beverly! We were disheartened to read about your recent less than satisfactory experience at our establishment. We have passed your comments along to our morning staff, as well as our Management so they can make the necessary adjustments to our morning communication between servers. We have limited staff during our slowest months, however what you encountered is not typical... More

My wife ordered arroz con pollo and the sauce was well-prepared. I ordered the chile relleno but there was no green chile in it. The chile was substituted by frying a flat egg omelette. Never seen that before.

Hola Demetrio! We are glad that you enjoyed your visit and the flavors, as we do make all of our food items in house and from scratch. We make our chile-rellenos by roasting California Chiles, removing the skin, filling with cheese, battering, and then deep frying. We do not serve the omelette style, but we do serve them with sauce... More

If not for the often slow/inefficient service, I'd give another star, for example, our drink glasses remaining empty even though the server has passed by five times, asking for another basket of chips yet not receiving them until requested a second time, requesting a side of sour cream with a meal yet never receiving it, etc. Having said all that,... I was on the fence about going to this restaurant based on other reviews. The car park was full which to me is a good sign. We had to wait a few minutes for table but not too long. The restaurant was hopping. Our order was taken promptly and we got free salsa and chips. So the food took a... More

Our family of 7 dined at El Cazador on a Friday night. We enjoyed the colorful decor and mariachi music. Everyone got something different and most choices were pleasing. I was disappointed with my Shrimp Tacos, though. The slaw was cloyingly sweet, which overpowered the dish. Thumbs up to the 22 oz. Pacifico and Corona Light drafts. Service was friendly... More

Just had early lunch here recently. We've not been to El Cazador for years because of previous service that was inconsistent. Food is great as usual - no complain about it. Our main server though was somewhat out of focus and they were not too busy at the time we were there - we had to tell him repeatedly what... More
