Old Downtown Favorite - got to get there early before they run out of donuts. The angel creme stuffed donut is the bomb... nice place to spend a little time for coffee and light breakfast. Lunch is also good with house special. They don't serve a variety of items but that doesn't mean you can't have a piece of pie,... More

I knew the original owner George and my daughter worked at this bakery so it has a special place in my heart. Lots of great memories. The business has changed hands several times over the years but still maintains the same type of menu items. That's both good and bad. On my recent visit I had my usual doughnut -... More

We ate spectacular spanakopitas yesterday - one of the tastiest I've ever had, and I was raised eating them so have sampled a lot of different versions. My friend raved over her dessert, a cream puff, and our coffee was strong and just right. I have been coming here since Macris owned it in the 1960s when we'd stop going... More

Historic old bakery that has been returned to part of it's original design. Very good food and pastries!

Ordered a peanut butter cookie, cannoli, & gluten free macaroon to go. The cookie: if I did not know that it was supposed to be a peanut butter cookie ... I wouldn't be able to tell. It was a crunchy cookie. No distinct flavor. Cannoli: filled only on the ends, one end vanilla & other side chocolate. Super crispy, unfortunately... More

just tired of the prices.. and the lack of clean, crisp place.. don't think they added much when they took over.. but $$ stopped going in weekly.. to much money for a donut? We leave it to the tourist now..

Excellent fresh bakery with apple fritters to die for. Don't miss the Apple cinnamon bread-take home a loaf it makes excellent toast. After a few days use it for French toast!

This is a cozy bakery with decent coffee and great doughnuts. I regularly meet a group of friends here. It is a family friendly atmosphere and the new ownership has given it a much needed update.

We stopped her for a small lunch before heading to North Bends cute tiny Theater. Its with in walking distance, So I highly recommend it. The food is super good. My boys had ham and cheese sandwiches. Hubby had Quiche and I got Spanakopita (spinach baked pie). And then we tried cookies, and doughnuts for dessert. The men working where... More
