The service was good. Our dinner arrived warm - kind of. The plates were hot, but the food had cold spots. It was also a bit on the bland side. Nice atmosphere inside. Easy freeway access.
Friday morning we took a chance and went out among the public for a photowalk. On the way home I had a craving for Chili Rellanos and called Mazatlan to see if they were open. They were, so I ordered take-out. The restaurant was, naturally...empty, but the host greeted me warmly and bustled off to fetch my food from the kitchen. As I took the bag from the counter I told him to hang on because once the quarantine is over they will likely be swamped with customers tired of eating their own cooking. There is a saying that hunger is the best sauce but I think deprivation should rank right up there. I thoroughly enjoyed the Chili Rellanos and made a point of saving some of the refried beans and rice to have the next day with fried eggs. My advice for people thronging the fast food stands is to remember the upscale restaurants as well and show them a little love by ordering take-out. I'm sure they will all love to take care of your food cravings during these trying times. Keep your distance and stay healthy.More
I have had a good meal at this restaurant in the past, so I won't give up after one so-so experience. I had the fajitas. The onions and peppers were tasty and cooked properly, but the meat was fairly tasteless. Though the restaurant was not...at all busy, we felt terribly rushed to vacate our table. Just as I posted on Yelp. I will never go here again. We would go here quite often because our kitchen was being remodeled. And had many enjoyable meals. However, I had ordered chicken fajitas and literally got only two slices of chicken. When I...asked the waiter if I could get more chicken he left and came back with the cook and manager. They literally called me a liar and accused me of eating the chicken and leaving two pieces on the plate and then asked for more. I DID NOT EVEN TOUCH THE FOOD ONLY TO LOOK FOR CHICKEN.More
I usually get their Chimichangas and they are so good. The ambiance is nice and the service is quick and usually friendly.
I took one of my employees here for lunch and we had a nice meal. The Chile Rellenos were tender with savory flavor. The service was fast.
I love their chicken Quesadillas! They always put so much extra ingredients into them, that they are more than a mere appetizer & more like a meal that I can never finish! By far the best I've had!
The food and drinks were great, but the bartender/waiter on Wednesday night was hilarious! We felt so comfortable there and enjoyed his humour. Tip: sit at the bar. :)

Everyone seems to use this place for group events due to the size! It is better than Azteca due to it's large menu and great Sunday brunch! The food is good. My family likes their variety of burritos. The drinks are good. The atmosphere is typical of a Mexican Restaurant. The prices are average for this type of establishment. 12.00-16.00 for a meal is what my family typically spends. Good drink specials.
