BLG fired the cook 1/1/22, leaving some pre-made stuff for purchase. The "chicken" burrito contained some white, hard, tasteless chunks that I presume were chicken, but you couldn't tell by taste and texture. Web site still shows a large variety of freshly cooked food that...doesn't exist. It's a little grocery with lots of beer and no longer a restaurant.More

We enjoyed lunch here with a friend who also enjoyed the breakfast. The food is tasty and a good value. They have added salads recently and mine was very fresh.

Spicy hot wings and good local beers. New owners. Hope they do well. It's a cool neighborhood hang out.

If you are looking to purchase a hamburger, a growler of beer, a bottle of wine, a dozen eggs, some shampoo and some fishing worms, this is a perfect place. The selection is fairly limited but everything you could need is there. Staff is friendly...and helpful. We always stop at the Big Lake Grocery!More

We had heard that this neighborhood grocery also served some pretty good food, so we thought we'd give it a try. We ordered cheeseburgers and drinks and ate in their outdoor seating area. The burgers were good and I particularly liked that I could get...it with tater tots, which are my favorite. They had a small selection of draft beer and a limited selection of wine.More
