We were told there were no reservations and we still went prepared to be turned away. We were lucky and there was a table. I had the carb and shrimp melt, which was good, but I looked with envious eyes at those with the Mill...burger. We started with a pickle jar to share between four and even the two pickle lovers had their fill. The beer was also great and they were able to fill my 128oz keg before we left. We will return.More

The food is good, although do not order the smoked salmon linguine. It is not what you expect. The halibut fish and chips were wonderful. The steaks looked good but a little spendy, for me. But Brandon will make your day.

Typical light fare restaurant food, burger and patty melt ok, no dazzle or gotcha for ‘made from scratch’ type food.

Have been here several times this year. The food is alright but lacks atmosphere. A diner I suppose. More atmosphere in the ajoining bar where you can also eat. Went there 3 times in 2 weeks and the servers never remember you.

I have heard many time nice things about this place from friends, but I cannot seem to get the same service or food they have experienced. Tryed again last night. I thought the first two visits were because they were a new restaurant. It has...been well over a year since we tried this place before. Nope. Maybe we will try next year again.... Maybe customer service might improve?More

We saw the changes in the menu so it was time to go for it. I enjoyed the corn dogs and ground beef tacos. My son said the dirty fries were great greeargreat and my wife

So we walk into the lobby with the sports bar off to the left and see the restaurant side of the house and were pleasantly surprised. This is not your normal sports bar/restaurant. This is a full on nice restaurant with friendly staff, well trained,...polite, clean establishment with great food. This exceeds establishments that are thought of as upscale dining such as Black Angus, Joey's or even Anthony's that are far more expensive. Though this was a family outing...this will be my wife and my go-to date night restaurant as it is close, great food and menu and some well poured drinks...(recommend Uber or a designated daughter in our case tonight!).More

We were in Tacoma this past weekend and we were looking for a place to have dinner and drinks. The hotel desk clerk mentioned The Mill. We had some great meals ranging from fish to burgers to steaks. Everyone was pleased with there meals. The...waiter was outstanding with his service. The other half of the building is a sports bar. We all went there after dinner to have a drink or two and listen the live band. We had a very nice time there as well.More

Went last week and enjoyed dinner on a warm evening on the patio. There was a large birthday group there which meant a LOT of noise and delayed service for everyone else, but hey ... birthday. Once our servers noticed us, drinks were promptly supplied...and orders taken. My chicken and waffle was underwhelming -- the chicken was very moist and the breading super crunchy and delicious, but the waffle ... meh. There was a green on my plate that looked like a half-hearted garnish, not in enough quantity to be a side - I think. My date's mac 'n cheese was nice. This definitely was a better experience than our first time when a so-called charcuterie board was an overpriced selection of this and that with a smear of something -- things our server couldn't even properly identify. It's more expensive, but we knew that going in. The service didn't quite scale to the price tag but was quite good. Was the whole $ / experience worth it? Meh ... It's so close to home, though, we'll probably give it another try -- in another year.More

Mill offers live music Wed and Saturday nights - the bar is separated from the restaurant so you get some of the music drifting in but not overpowering. The menu items are somewhat eclectic which is surprising in an area like Milton but the place...is usually full so they must be doing something right. I've had several fish dishes - swordfish, trout, Mr. had oysters, drinks are good and hearty, they offer CBD water which is the first time I've seen this option. Very cutting edge - if you have foodie folks from out of town and want to take them to Mt Rainier views - this would be a good stop en route back to Seattle... purely for the free parking! Good service, good food, good atmosphere. One of the area go to restaurants if a bit pricey. Save it for occasions and you won't be disappointed. Brunch offered Sunday - have not yet tried. Will add second review after that option.More
