We used to go to Clay Pit in Mill Creek (15418 Main St, Mill Creek, WA) occasionally for an average Indian buffet lunch, but there is no way we are going to return. We’ve always been aware that the owners of this place appeared kind of rough around the edges, but we never imagined that they would act so aggressive... More

Wonderful little Indian restaurant that serves out-of-this world food. My favorite is the Kasturi Lamb Curry. Rich vibrant flavors infuse the lamb and reach out to your soul. My son and his girlfriend love, love, love the Butter tomato chicken. This is our go-to place when we want to celebrate life's joys. Cannot recommend it enough.

Being from the UK, which is the country where Indian cuisine is a daily staple , we were very pleased when they opened. All thir predecessors but one in the region, were awefull. The service, does leave something to be desired, yes, we have though to remember that a lot are not from here and their behaviour is like in... More

A wide assortment of Indian dishes are available - from curry dishes for lamb and vegetarian. Oddly enough, my favorite are the different naan available. This place is definitely worth it.

Three out of four in our group chose the lunch buffet. This was not listed in their menu. The buffet gives you several dishes; my favorite was the chicken tandoori; the rice was very good, as was the salad. Did not try the soup, but it looked good. The rice pudding was very good. One of my friends opted to... More

If you like Indian, you really enjoy Clay Pit. Took friends who had never been there. We all had great dinners. Lots of different choices, sauces, meats, etc. But best. Is choosing your heat number, from 1 to 6 on the hot spicy scale. Very busy place. And offers take out. Service is good.

We went with as group of 6. Many good choices and many of these could be shared. You rated your tolerance of "hot" from 1 to 5 and they graciously matched it for you - they did seem to imply that you should be certified for a 5. The sauces were a little heavy but very tasty - you might... More

We come here a few times a year. The food is always fresh and tasty, especially the nans, the butter chicken, and mango pudding. The price is reasonable too @ $9.99 per person. The old man at the counter sometimes let our little guy eat free of charge because he had "good manner".

I struggled with writing this review as we have gone to this restaurant for a few years now. But today enough was enough. I was finally so disgusted by the poor customer service that my family and I got up and left. BANNED! I don't need Indian food that much. Let me expand. This restaurant opens at 5 pm daily.... More
