Granted I was hungry as hell when I walked in here and ordered the blue cheese burger with onion rings and a coke float. Coke float - eh not bad. Nothing special. Onion rings - delicious. Not too oily, just right. Burger - melted blue...cheese, 1/3 pound burger patty. Just fabulous. And the service was pleasant and friendly too. Given the lack of dining options in the north cascades, this place should be cleaning up!More

Friendly staff in a traditional diner with EXCELLENT Rueben sandwiches, shakes and homemade pies!!! I don’t even eat shakes and pies, but there are just some places that you know if you were EVER going to order them, this is the place that you should....Chocolate cream pie? YES, please! Frankly, I couldn’t eat everything that I ordered so took the pie to go and enjoyed on the shore of Diablo Lake later that afternoon. Such a nice find!More

We stopped for lunch at this cute diner after visiting North Cascades National Park. It caught our interest because the menu includes vegetarian options, and it's one of the closest places to the park. When we arrived the parking lot was almost full and we...were concerned there would be a wait, but there were plenty of tables and the hostess seated us immediately. Choices are tables, booths or bar counter, with an option to sit outdoors on the patio. The ambiance is casual and cozy; country style with gingham curtains and nostalgic decor like vintage advertisements, old license plates and an antique telephone on the walls. Our server was friendly and accommodating. We ordered Garden Salad, Vegan Burger, Salmon Patty, and fries. Despite being short-staffed for the day, they were keeping food on the tables and the preparation time was reasonable. The homemade desserts looked scrumptious but we were just too full. We enjoyed the meal and the opportunity to relax before driving on to our hotel. Wheelchair access is good, but be aware the parking lot is gravel. Note this restaurant may be closed during the winter months.More

Thank you for stopping at our Diner and taking the time to give us a review! When you come back you will notice our parking lot is paved now. Hope to see you again.

The mayo- holy cow- awesome. Found out that it's homemade. I like the french fries, those are good, too. They are not the big steak fries like I'm used to, but they were seasoned perfectly and cooked perfectly too. But seriouslybest BLT- because of the...Mayo. It was a very heavily-whipped, creamy, rich mayo, a little on the heavy side, but holy cow- it was epic, especially with the fries. Second time I have eaten at the diner, first time since they switched owners. It was good. Written by Nicole KALIL, as heard from her boyfriend, Garrett. <3More

We stopped for lunch and were not disappointed. The sandwiches were good. The salad contained vegetables. It was not just lettuce. The pie was very good.

We stopped for an early lunch and were disappointed that they had stopped serving breakfast. Went for the sandwich instead. My husband got the BLT and I the turkey sandwich. They took awhile to get to us, especially as it was not busy, but worth...the wait. Fries were hot, the sandwiches were fresh. Only ate half and saved the rest for dinner.More

Best place ever. Super friendly and accommodating staff. We had a dog with us that we couldn’t leave in the car so they had us bring him into the back patio and even brought him his own water! I had grilled cheese (kid version since...it’s smaller) and fries while the person I was with had a burger. Best burger he’s ever had and best grilled cheese I’ve ever had. Definitely a place to stop by! Next time if we are in a rush Mabye I’ll just get take out if they have it. Definitely recommend this place!More

We stopped here for lunch on our way to the Diablo Dam. I had a burger and fries, and my husband had a salad with a salmon filet added on. Both were good. It was nice that they had a “lighter fare and kids menu”...so I could get a 1/4 lb burger instead of their usual 1/3 lb burger. Anyone can order off of it. Two caveats though... 1) cell phone service is nonexistent if you’re on AT&T and somewhat spotty on TMobile, so don’t think you’ll be able to check your email and such if you go here. 2) For being a small town diner, I thought their prices were high, although I guess because there are a dearth of services on that road, they can get away with it with tourists going through.More
