Ordered the "senior's burger platter" and received the most pathetic looking burger I have ever been served. Not worth half what I was charged - a thin patty on a bun - that's it. No lettuce, tomato onion or anything else if you discount the...mayonnaise or whatever they spread on the bun. Didn't leave us with any desire to return.More

My family and I have ate here several times. The food has always been excellent. The services the same. It looks small but has a larger back area. The homemade desserts are very good. The zucchini fries are yummy. My wife, kids and grandkids haven't...ever complained so this is a good place. It gets 8 thumbs up from my family.More

I took advantage of senior day, Thursday each week a a $10.50 special with choice of 3-4 entre’s, non-alcoholic drink and dessert. You get a great salad w bread OR soup, I had the fried chicken dinner - 3 pieces of good fried chicken, baked...potato, and green beans w bacon. I had to bring a piece of chicken home and couldn’t do the free dessert! Lots of food and it was good quality. Service is great there, clean and other good food items that are good and reasonably priced. I’ve had their fish and chips in the past and it was great. Others I’ve been with had and loved their turkey dinner, hot roast beef sandwich with gravy. You can’t beat the price for the quality of food, and service! I’ll be back to try their breakfasts and of course other menu items. They always have fresh homemade pies too!More

We were celebrating a 50th birthday party with a party of 26! I was initially hoping the Saturday event wouldn’t be too much for this usually busy cafe, but I was not disappointed. The orders were all handled well, and every dish was enjoyed. They...didn’t mind we brought our own cake. They have wonderful desserts, but the birthday girl wanted her favorite cake. I would not hesitate to recommend this cafe for an event, and I did book ahead.More

Fairway does everything big. All of their meals are great and the portions are more than generous. I am particularly fond of the chili burger.

Many others have written lengthy articles here about this place. They all went on at length about the home style meals, the portion sizes, the fish and chips, and the clam chowder. They were right. The coffee is good too. You will likely need a...refill with your pie. Oh, yes, you definitely want to try the pie. You may thank me later Just try it. You can thank me laterMore

We were promptly greeted upon entry even thought signage stated to use self-seating. Our servers were very friendly and attentive throughout our meal. Our entree portions were large. All components were excellent - very good flavours. Menu with just too many great selections to name...only a few. From present to past meals, all choices are rated very good to excellent. We patronize this place despite being 20 kms away..More

I strongly recommend the Fairway Café in Lynden. It is like an old fashioned Diner only I believe better. The food tastes fresh, they always fill the plate with great ingredients. The pickles on the burgers are to die for, the fish was excellent and...the chips, wow, the best I have had for a while. A busy place so you may have to wait. I think it is a gem and the word is spreading. I am sorry I didn't take photo's but do yourself a favor and just go. You wont be disappointed.More

Some dear friends recommended that my wife and I meet them at the Fairway Cafe for dinner. Our first impression when we arrived was a down home Country embiance...the waitress immediately making us feel at home... several tables of locals feasting on full plates of...what appeared to be amazing food. My wife ordered the open-faced Turkey dinner with all the trimmings...I ordered the Chicken fried Steak. THEY. WERE. AWESOME! Great food...down home atmosphere...great friends... You can't get any better than this! You'll love it!!More
