I ordered sausage and eggs with hash browns and rye toast. Service was fast ... too fast as I could not ask why one of my "up" eggs was broken up and running on the plate. Started eating - sausage was obviously pre cooked and kept in a warmer - dried out. Toast was flat cold. Noted my complaints on... More

The old building and themed decor make for great ambiance. Service was average to a little above average. I ordered the split pea soup--very good--- and salad which was straight out of a bag and not too fresh at that. Didn't try any desserts but they looked delicious in the bakery case at the front. I would go here again,... More

We were seated right away, coffee delivered almost instantly and our order for the croquette plate with pea soup and the apple cinnamon pannekoek were also served quickly. Good food, great service and nice atmosphere!

Little place with great decor but simple table settings. The plates come with more food than you should eat! Pancakes are huge and delicious! A definate return trip to Lynden!

This restaurant is located in the "historic" part of Lynden. It occupies a wide swath of buildings, with the restaurant part to the west. Inside, you'll find a well-appointed, modern, hospitable environment. Visiting on a weekday, off-season, I was seated quickly, at a booth (great for just me and my newspapers), and my order taken. On the restaurant's website are... More

Nice service but food awful. Rhubarb in pie was tough, croquettes mushy, and salad stale with fatty dressing. Saving grace was the pea soup. Totally wonderful!

What a great surprise! You gotta try this place. We both had the Dutch Pannenkoeken (cross between pancake and a thick crepe...only super-huge). 5 pieces of thick-cut bacon and busted my low-cholesterol diet...but was good. The biscuits and country gravy looked great, too!

My wife and I had breakfast here and were blown away by the quality and quantity of food. Generally my wife is very particular about her food, and usually is not too happy with what she gets. This place was the exception, she said everything she had was absolutely perfect. Her hashbrowns were cooked to perfection. The restaurant is in... More

I've been to this restaurant a few times. Most recent visit on Aug 20, 2016. It's homey and quaint. The servers are friendly but service can be a bit hit and miss. I have been too full to try their desserts but plan to take something home from their bakery a few doors down from the restaurant - everything looks... More
