When coming to Long Beach I would try the bakery for Breakfast , lunch, or easy dinner. They have donuts in the store of course, but nothing compares to a devildog and glass of cold milk for me. There will most likely be a line, but they are very fast and have plenty of employees. They have wonderful pies, cakes,breads... More

Fresh baked daily, great taste. Open early for early drink and a donute. Enjoy soup in a bread bowl. Fresh made sandwiches are tasty.

First of all, location is tiny and very hard to squeeze into to buy goodies. There is no line or order to the crowd trying to buy treats. We went in 4 times. I walked back out without anything 3 of the 4 times. When we did get up to the counter, we only got a couple giant cookies. The... More

This is a popular stop for those who are visiting Long Beach, and also for the locals. They have great bakery items and a very large variety. They also have awesome deli sandwiches. It's hard not leaving town a pound heavier because I am crazy about the pecan danish which are the best ever!!

When you go to Long Beach be sure to have delicious soup and a sandwich at the bakery. Everything is homemade and delicious. You will want to go back again and again. A wide variety of breads are made fresh daily and our favorite is the black rye - YUM! Every soup and sandwich we have ever had there (we... More

Many days there is a line BUT its always worth it! Whenever we are at the beach we always make a stop. Be sure to try a sandwich on there homemade herb bread and then choose an amazing dessert from the case. They don't except cards so bring cash

This place has awesome pastries to die for, and the Reuben was so oo yummy. My husband was not impressed with his French dip as the meat and sauce was microwaved. This is one place that always has a long line for the pastries, but it's well worth the wait!!

You have to stop here! RUM BALLS! Carrot cake, doughnuts, bread and chowder! We stop every trip! Always a line. But worth the wait! They have very few tables for seating. The deli side has a great choice of fresh made sandwiches and soups! But it's the beach, have the chowder! They only take cash so they have an ATM... More

Long Beach wouldnt be the same without a stop to Cottage Bakery. It's kind of a family tradition to go there at least once while staying in Ocean Park. It is crowded but somehow we always get a table. You clear it . The sandwich line is like a subway only fanastic grades of deli meat and somehow it always... More

We had ordered 2 loaves of cinnamon raisin to pick up July 3rd. Had a cup of coffee & donuts while we were there! The Cottage Bakery has the BEST donuts, coffee & bread on the peninsula. Have been buying goodies there since the 1980's!!

Thank Virginia M
