A great atmosphere for evening dining - good menu selection and a good wine list. I recommend reservations on Friday and Saturday nights.

My two friends and I stopped by for dinner. Two of us had the lasagna. We should have split the order! It was probably 6x6x6" if not more. Many layers of meaty sauce and cheese, topped by browned melted mozzarella cheese. Oh my! Neither of us could come close to finishing it. The third person in our party ordered the... More

This little restaurant was suggested by our hotel. The venue is small, but the food was really good. Our server was cheerful and very efficient. I was surprised by how quickly our dinners arrived. The menu was set up to accommodate a variety of appetites.

The Alley Cafe is an Italian restaurant with very average food. It is located in an alley behind the main street in town.

This place is literally off an alley (behind other buildings) so doesn't have much of a view. But the beautiful interior makes up for it. The food is expensive but excellent. (Sometimes I wish you could get half portions, or perhaps those with small appetites could split an entree--something to think about for next time, anyway.)

My family had good choices and enjoyed their food. I'm gluten free and the choices were minimal. The gluten free pasta wasn't cooked all the way bit it didn't fall apart.

The service was excellent, and the ambiance was definitely spot on, but the food was so-so. The kid's menu is lacking and the spaghetti and meatballs left a lot to be desired.

We dropped in without a reservation during the Wine Walk. Plenty of tables available. Our dinners were excellent- fresh salads, etc. We ate the mushroom ravioli, spinach salad, Mediterranean chicken, and Penne Mascarpone. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I would say upscale food with out all the pretense.

After a few meals of German food in Leavenworth we wanted to try something different. Our bed and breakfast hosts recommended The Alley Café. The food was wonderful, the service was very friendly and fast and the dining room was old world Italy. We loved it.

We love the Alley Cafe. The setting is intimate, the food is excellent (try the schnitzel) and well priced and the service is wonderful. We have eaten there on may occasions including our recent anniversary and it is always wonderful.
