If you are looking for a quick simple bite. This is the place to go. They have soup and sandwiches, along with desserts.

We stopped in for a quick bite to eat while we were shopping! The sausage platter was very good as was the white chili!

Down the stairs, informal and like a ski town refueling stop. Expect commercially made brats, healthy wraps, and generous portions. The chicken wrap was EXCELLENT! If you want "Authentic Bavarian Food" do NOT go to this place. But if you want to put some good food into your tummy so you can do more exploring DEFINITELY eat here. Good vibe,... More

Seeking a light lunch, my wife and I walked around town checking out our options, finally settling on the Soup Cellar. It is located down a steep set stairs though there is a notice near the entry indicating an elevator is available. The place itself is on the dumpy side, but you are there for the food, not the ambiance.... More

They had good sandwiches which were reasonable. Fish n chips, French dip abd bacon burger. The fries were good. Had the chicken and wild rice soup and it was just ok. Not worth the upcharge of $3.99. The fries are better. Service was great , friendly and helpful.

The restaurant is super fun! We decorated our dollars and hung them on the wall. The staff was great and friendly. We shared the sausage sampler and were disappointed. The saurkraut was my favorite part of the whole dish. The sausages were not very warm and one of them was disgustingly processed and full of hard pieces. The grey one... More

The place, like many in Leavenworth, has a really unique atmosphere in the basement of one of the buildings on Front Street. Beyond that, it's really just an average place with average food. It's cheap, usually easy to get a seat, and the people are friendly. Can't really recommend, but no reason to advise against it either.

Given this is Leavenworth, I was surprised how reasonable the prices were, especially when we got the sandwiches: reuben and a Cali BLT. Both tasted good and were filling. The potatoe salad was different in a good way, and the french fries were the right kind of crispy.
