OK, so we thought we would come for German food, but ended up ordering the Reuben with FF (on a recommendation from another guest) and it was awesome! Great portion size, wonderful flavors and crispy French fries....all this accompanied by a German beer...life is good!...We sat outside (road was closed due to 'Covid' and enjoyed it very much) Our waitress was wonderful and attentive and, yes, we will be back!More

We sat outside because of Covid 19. Despite my asking our waitress politely to cover her nose with her mask she only did once when I asked her. I explained to her why it was important to me. After fixing her mask every time she...came by our table she hlad the mask only covering her nose. The food was great and the apple strudel the best.More

We all enjoy eating here at least once every time we visit. The large trays of food you can order feed large groups of people, but the individual meals are also delicious and authentic. B4 Covid there was music and all of us could dance....But with the German food and social distancing observed it is still a special place to have a meal. I even did a take out the last time I was there and sat outside at the many tables that line the streets now that they have closed the main streets to car traffic. Plenty of parking in the parking lots that are close by within walking distance. My grandchildren really enjoy it here. I even had my 75th Birthday bash here last year and all my guests had a wonderful time! Fabulous food and drinks.More

Awesome! Great Family atmosphere! The food was the true German flavor I was hoping for! Great food, great service and very reasonably priced. We were greated at the door and escorted to our table by a very polite, professional and welcoming young gentleman. The owner...came to our table at the end of our meal and greated us. I had the Jagerschnitzle- soo good! Definitely recommend this place. We will be back again for sure!More

We have dined here 4 times over the years and have always enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. We started coming when the boys were little and continue to visit now in their teen years. Most recently we stopped for dinner on our way back...over the mountains from a Chelan trip. WE ordered the Family Platter for 6, (there are 4 of us...Did I mention two teenage boys)? Everything was so good with the highlight being the roasted pork knuckle. Three kinds of sausages, we liked the spicy one best, German meatloaf, were our favorites. We also love their red cabbage. The live entertainment is always fun too although there was none this visit. Our family plans our drives around going to restaurants and this one is always on our radar!More

Worst schnitzel I ever had. Soggy and tough. Cabbage was okay. Fifty dollars for red potatoes and pounded pork that was under cooked. Horrible.

This is one of the typical Bavarian restaurants in Leavenworth. The food is good and the service was nice too, at affordable prices.

We bolted in after the Icefest fireworks so it was about 630 PM. We were given a choice of the beer garden or the dining area. We opted for the latter. There were several tables already occupied but not full....yet. We ordered the pork schnitzel...and the Bavarian meatloaf. The former arrived with fried potatoes and red cabbage. The latter came with red cabbage, fried potatoes, and winekraut (which I asked to switch for spaetzle) This was by far the best meal since our arrival 3 days ago. The schnitzel was not overcooked, not charred, and not leathery. The meatloaf (4 triangular slices) was a huge portion topped with Swiss and onions. We never had it before but it resembled a ham loaf. Half of that came home. My wife got a cup of gluhwein. Said the product from another place was better. Didnt have enough spices for her. Since we best the fireworks crowd, more people did come in over time so that the place was full when we left. Our server was great. Answered our questions. Even offered a taste of winekraut as we were unfamiliar with it. Total cost about $52 which we was comparable to others in town and we thought very reasonable given the quality of the entrees and portion size. There was live music as well so it was a nice touch.More

My family and I split their dinner for six. It had pork shank which was fabulous, schnitzel, sausage, meat loaf, chicken and German potato salad, red cabbage and red potatoes. It was great and the service was outstanding.
