Multiple levels, funky decor, big portions, and good food. Store front appeal not so great, but don't let that fool you. We will be back.

After much discussion with each other and many shop keepers, we decided to go to Andreas Keller for our appetizers and then walk up to King Ludwig's for our mains as I was very interested in the roulade. We were met by a server in a worn wooly sweater and seated. This restaurant seemed to be devoid of ambience. We... More

The portions are very small and obviously been pre-prepared and then reheated prior to serving. Our server needed continuous prompting for things such as cutlery, napkins, another beer etc. The food itself barely resembled German fare which is unfortunate as the restaurant considers itself a Bavarian style establishment. Go elsewhere.

My wife and I both had jagersnitzel which was fine, but smothered in the most bland mushroom gravey I've tasted. The claim its homemade, hard to believe. Neither of us could eat the red cabbage sauerkraut. Before our meal arrived I went to the use the bathroom. An kitchen employee exited the locked bathroom after a minute. As I entered... More

Nice looking place but the food was cafeteria quality with high prices. Probably the most flavorless Sauerbraten I ever had. My wife had a dried up half chicken with almost raw potatoes. We eat German food often and this was some of the worst ee have had anywhere. Waitress put took the order, brought one drink amd never saw her... More

I dined early in the evening so there were not many people in the restaurant. I got seated immediately but then I waited and waited for my waitress to take my order. I could tell my server was not very enthusiastic. I ordered a meal and drink. I did not see any bread on the menu so I asked the... More

We both had schnitzel and a German beer that where very good. Has bench style seating with live accordian music, and can get lively with a few beers. Very professional and friendly helpful staff. I did feel a little crowded by the layout and clossness of other tables in dining room.

This place is a fun stop in Leavenworth that has great traditional Bavarian food and great beer. Thanks for allowing the band a place to stop!

Tracy was a great coordinator for an event for 25 people! Schnitzel was great as well as chicken. Not excited about the apple strudel. Would recommend overall
